I come here regularly with friends, particularly when it's nice out and the patio is open. The food is good, their homemade beer is outstanding. The new chef came in and changed the menu to app selections that aren't shareable. That makes our trips here a bit more challenging.

Jasper Murdock's Alehouse at the Norwich Inn is a must when in the area. Their creations are amazing. Their wings are some of the best in Vermont. I always stopped by when working in the area! I will be back soon!

I have not stayed here but have eaten lunch here several times. This historic old inn is a perfect getaway spot located near several popular sites, Hanover, King Arthur Flour, Simon Pearce, among others. The food is delicious and setting is such you don't want to leave. It would be a great place to curl up and read a book... More

The fish and chips was excellent! Service was friendly and atmosphere was great, even on a busy, cold night.

Went to lunch with friends, ate in the dining room, not the pub. The lunch menu was VERY limited----two salads, two types of burgers, tuna wrap, soup. The food was fine. Service was not good, and they were not busy. I would not go again.

The beer sampler gets you 4 samples for $6.50 or so and they price a sample taste at $1.95 so we added the other two they were brewing. Not bad beers. Split a sandwich of the day and added eggplant fries which were interesting. Nice room overlooking the yard and fountain. Good stop before taking a drive through the Dartmouth... More

Went for lunch. The hostess never asked if we would prefer seating inside or out. Since we didn't know there was a terrace, we settled for a table in the formal dining room that had the atmosphere (and clientele) of a geriatric facility. We're senior citizens, but we're looking for lunch in a "pub" as advertised. I ordered the ale... More

Often heard good things about this place and wanted to see for myself. Actually was on way to Hanover for Indian food, so didn't order any food. I loved the décor as soon as I entered and found the bar quaint and inviting. I like older style wooden interiors with signs, knick-knacks, etc., and this place had it. The Bartender... More

I've been here a few times with mixed results. The last time was for a simple hamburger, which was cooked to death with meager tomato and overcooked bun. Not that hard to do, but they failed miserably.

Small lunch menu, but all the selections were more than ample and prepared well. Lunch for 2 was on the pricey side, but was well worth it. Dessert selection small but very good---- not for the diet minded!!.
