Leslie and John make this experience like dining at a friend's house, who just happen to be very gracious hosts and a 4 star chef and 4 star pastry / dessert maven.

Leslie's is on of the best spots in the Bellows Falls/ Rockingham area. The owners John and Leslie are the most charming warm and creative hosts around. They offer a wonderful farm to table dining experience with a delicious menu with specials that change with the seasons. They also offer cooking classes and pairing dinners that are truly wonderful. Check out... More

Our daughter and her then fiancé moved to Bellows Falls a year ago. Since then we have gone up to help them work on the house and for some holidays. During those 10 or so visits we drove by Leslie's many times always saying that we need to give them a try but never seemed to get around to it.... More

The atmosphere is comfortable and the food is the finest with good portions, none of that bird like portions you get in some fine dining restaurants. My husband and I haven't been to Leslie's in years and I don't know why other than it is a bit of a drive in a direction we don't go often. I'm so glad... More

Everything about Leslie's was perfect - atmosphere, service, food and drinks. With fresh, local ingredients and herbs picked from their own garden, the flavors were wonderful. The only negatives - the cost of the drinks and the tax were not itemized and they used an ipad with the cube to make a credit card payment which proved awkward regarding the... More

A thoroughly enjoyable welcome-to-Spring dinner last night with my hubby. This was our fourth visit and a different menu greeted us along with smiling, friendly wait staff. The fiddlehead IPA whet our whistle with piping hot, fresh French bread and chive butter. They are known for their mushroom soup which I savored as my husband devoted the chicken wings with... More

We went out to Leslie's for our 21st anniversary and invited our son as he was home from college. We live nearby and save this restaurant for special occasions because we know it has great, but expensive, food. Our reservations were for 7:30. We came in 5 min. early and a very unenthusiastic hostess said we could wait in the... More

You are disappointed and so are we..Our sincere apologies! There is no excuse for having poor service. On ski weekends in February and being at the base of an interstate exit we often go from an empty dining room to a totally full dining room in less than half hour. Our dilemma in rural Vermont is finding servers who will... More

My fiancé and I have travel to many places and we love to go to different restaurants to try new food. We like to research places to see what they are about. The ratings that Leslie's receive are miss leading to say the least. I ordered the Thai shrimp with jasmine rice and he ordered the pork chop. My rice... More

Sorry for the late response to your review..we have had a very busy winter. We obviously need to apologize for what you thought was poor food. My wife and I make almost everything from appetizer to dessert from scratch..daily. I can not remember a day where we did not put our heart into the food we are creating for that... More
