We had a very enjoyable meal. The food was very good although my partner's steak was cold as if it had been sitting while the other entrees were finished. Atmosphere delightful. The only other critique we had(and we're not sure if it was the waitstaff or the kitchen that caused the inconvenience) was that our appetizers arrived with our salads... More

We eat here often as it is close to home and the food is always good and predictable. Last night we stopped in and ordered two special appetizers, the liver pate and warm octopus salad. The pate was excellent and nicely served with fig and coarse mustard and toast and pickled onions. The warm octopus salad put us right back... More

One of the best meals we have ever had anywhere, and we have had many excellent meals. Excellent service, delicious food, beautifully presented and just about perfectly prepared. We had to remind each other not to lick the plates, even though the sauces were peerless. Entrees range between about $20 and about $30, so three of us ate very well... More

After a day of brewery hopping in Burlington, my fiancé and and I stayed at the Holiday Inn express in south burlington. After checking in the front desk woman suggested we try Pauline's for dinner. Upon looking at the menu and pulling into the restaurant I was expecting pub style pub. Incorrect! We had a very enjoyable, fine dining style,... More

The experience did not disappoint. I really do appreciate that they remained open. The food was good, the atmosphere perfect for the evening, and the service was friendly.

We ate dinner at Paulines which we visited several years ago and it's just as good as it was. It's a small intimate restaurant with a great menu. The Vermont cheese sampler appetizer is one of our favorites, in addition to our main dishes. Check it out.

Four of us were staying at a nearby hotel and enjoyed the short walk to the restaurant. Somehow we were not expecting much but had a pleasant surprise. All four of us were very pleased with our diverse dinner choices we all returned the next night for dinner and we were all again equally pleased.

I recently had lunch with a friend here, for his birthday. The restaurant itself is particularly cosy in the enclosed porch. This is the preferred place to eat. The menu is varied and offers many delicious alternatives. I had a lovely curry tomato bisque and a salad with Cajun chicken, shredded carrots and beets and blue cheese crumbles. My guest... More

From the outside the restaurant looks more like someone's home and parking is somewhat limited. The inside is very nice and cozy. The best part is the food. The menu has several unusual but tempting offers, which makes the selection difficult. Everything we had tasted very good and we would return over and over if we lived in the area.

Last night, after traveling from Connecticut to Vermont for five hours to attend an anniversary luncheon, we opted for an early dinner in the area, never realizing that during the "foliage season" reservations are a must. When we learned there were no tables available, we offered to sit at the bar and the server Kevin readily agreed. We then met... More
