Al's has always been a favorite of mine growing up and it still is. While visiting family in Vermont I stopped by Al's and was not disappointed! The fries were tasty as always and my husband was impressed by the shrimp. The chocolate shake was...More

We were trying to find a place to eat and so we decided to try Al's French Fries as we were staying in the hotel right next door. The food was good and a lot of people followed us in there.

We visit Burlington 6-10 times a year, and we always stop at Al's. Their food is amazing, the staff is always friendly. It's clean, you get your food quickly. The ice cream is a good treat also!

Al's is a classic 50's hop/hangout! At any moment you'd expect Fonzi, Richie or the rest of the cast from Happy Days or Grease to walk into the place! The decor is classic black, red, and white with classic 50's music (Elvis, Anka, et al)...More

We are still not quite sure what to make of this place buts an old school classic and a unique made to order burger joint. The patties are a bit small so go for the double burgers

Al's French Frys reminded me of Happy Days! It is an institution. A burgers and fries not to miss. And the Creemees! Vermont's version of a soft serve custard style ice cream that must be enjoyed.
