Often restaurants and coffee shops don't get tea right. I got one of the hottest cups of tea ever from Black Cap. I got Earl Grey as usual with milk...steeped to perfection. So good! Nice place to sit and relax.

This was just the spot we were looking for on a cold Sunday morning before we headed out of town. Some very nice artwork and crafts for sale. Nice coffee options, and a few breakfast sandwiches. The sandwiches were okay - but not outstanding. Also, would have preferred a good breakfast pastry selection. We enjoyed our meal, the venue, the... More

We love to visit Black Cap Coffee whenever we are in Stowe. It's a cool coffeehouse serving up great coffee, tea, and tasty treats. They also sell (to go only) a wide selection craft beers. Nice decor and you'll find people studying, relaxing, as the music vibes in the background. Definitely go visit Black Cap Coffee and enjoy!

I live locally in the area and really enjoy our cafes. I have visited Black Cap a number of times on my way to work. I can't help but feel that I am an annoyance to the staff. Last Friday I went in and as usual there was one staff in front and a second person in the back. The... More

Walked in and ordered right away. Then I waited over 10 minutes for a simple iced latte due to the fact that there was only one girl making drinks. Cashier disappeared in that 10 minutes while 6 people walked in waiting to be served. It got really bad when I watched the girl making my latte not add any espresso... More

Black Cap coffee is a great place for coffee and relaxation. The atmosphere is welcoming and exudes warmth. I wanted to come to a place where I could have coffee and a snack, as well as read and write in my journal. It was a nice place to come and unwind. I highly recommend The Black Cap

Lovely porch to watch the comings and goings of Stowe. We enjoyed a very tasty breakfast sandwich and coffee.

Stopped by for some hot chocolate and grabbed banana bread for a snack. The hot chocolate was decent and the banana bread was outstanding. Definitely would order that again. Service was slow. Place was packed and only one barista making drinks until another staff person came to help. Had about 5-6 people waiting for their orders and waited about 10-15... More

We stopped by on our way out of town for pastries and coffee and were so happy we did! The coffee was great and the banana bread is the best we've ever had!
