We were interested to find a Vietnamese restaurant on this tiny island so stopped in at lunch mid week in April. Plenty of folks were in town but we were the only ones here. There are about 8 tables inside and they have a few outdoor tables as well. If you want a place with happy, friendly, very kind staff,... More

The place is small and unpretentious and if you are looking for ambiance this is not the place. But the food was very good, served quickly, and the staff was very pleasant. And they don't charge any corkerage fee if you bring your own wine. We had dinner there early April so there were only a few other customers. I... More

We were hoping for a quick meal to get us by and came away pleasantly surprised. Fresh ingredients put this place over the top. It's small and popular. Nice folks too.

We visit Chincoteague for a few days ever year, always love it, and usually wish the food was a bit better. Not so this year, when all 3 of our dinners (two eat-in, one take-out) came from Saigon Village. Fresh ingredients, well prepared, incredibly fast and quite friendly service. Some of the dishes are really striking, really interestingly flavored, though... More

No longer the only Asia restaurant on Chincoteague, Saigon Village doesn't measure up. We had two different soups -- veggies were fresh, broth had no flavor. The summer rolls were cold and nearly tasteless. For the main course, we had the sate with shrimp, onions, cucumbers, tomatoes and an overly sweet peanut sauce. The shrimp was good, but the dish... We are always in Chincoteague for Oyster Fest and Seafood Fest. This is our go-to restaurant. Food is fresh, fast and delicious. It amazes me!

I frequent this restaurant when ever I'm downtown. The service is great and the bowls of soups are excellent. Free parking is nearby and if you are visiting the many shops, it's great place for a snack or meal.

Perfectly cooked vegetables still crunch a little when you bite them and every dish we've had (and we've had many) has perfectly cooked vegetables. The homemade fish sauce that comes with the spring rolls is so good I drink the little dish. Apparently every customer asks what the difference between the spring rolls and the summer rolls...the owner must say... More

We go here every annual trip and the service and food are wonderful. We like the sliding heat scale so you can choose exactly how hot you want it.
