Good food but the Cigarette Smoke permeates everywhere even where you are not supposed to smoke. Terrible.

For smokers and drinkers. Was not welcomed; waitress only said 'where do you want to sit' and it was my first time there. Left and have a wonderful meal down the street at the Galley.
We ate there and the only side open was the bat where EVERYONE except for us and children smoked. Poor food was the hi point. I don't recommend it
We love Taylor's and are loyal, frequent customers. The chef is excellent, having owned a very successful restaurant in our state capital for 30-plus years. The staff is professional, knowledgeable and extremely efficient. We prefer the dinner atmosphere in the restaurant's cozy bar, but can't...More
The bar was packed with smokers, so we choose to eat in the adjoining dining area. The waitress was over stressed...to say the least. We were there over an hour and a half, and we did get served our meal and one cocktail. She never...More
Food and service were both excellent, and the atmosphere was quite comfy. We will definitely make this restaurant a regular in Deltaville! Our dinners were as follows: 1) Salmon topped with a cream pesto sauce along with sides of hushpuppies, collards, and black-eyed peas, 2)...More
First important piece of information : the bar is smoking area. To dine non-smoking, go to the left. Peas were canned, gravy for liver and onions was canned or jarred, crab cakes were salty and did not have any taste of crab. Tarter sauce was...More
I heard that Taylor's used to be great food and service but that's not what we experienced. The food was average, everything on the seafood platter tasted the same and the waitress was kind of rude. More like an old bar scene versus good home...More
Not what it used to be. Very greasy Crab Cake. Yuk! Owner wants to get the Rip Rap out. Not your local hang-out any more. What a shame.
We were here during off season and the place was empty; the food was mediocre at best; service was poor as our waitress would have probably preferred to be elsewhere that evening. I had a fish sandwich which was fair.
