The Chef prepares delicious meals and the portions are perfect so that you are able to easily try the 3 course prix fixe (Mon-Thu) and not feel stuffed. Service is excellent and not rushed. I had the "Hay Soup" with a scallop - wasn't sure what to expect but it was earthy and delicious, scallop cooked perfectly. Pasta with veal... More

Had a lovely dinner with my husband and son here. I was a little surprised that they didn’t offer a fixed price for antipasti-primi-secondi-dessert. So I ordered a la carte, which each course was delightful. Waiter was good. Had to ask the assistant waiter for bread and water refills; not too attentive.

We celebrated my wife's birthday at Villa Mozart and it was a very special dining experience. The restaurant has limited tables so a reservation is necessary. We had a nice corner table, started with splitting the bibb lettuce salad with goat cheese, nuts, granny smith apple slices and drizzled with a light citrus dressing, very nice. My wife ordered the... More

Went for dinner. Adorable little place with upscale feel. You are greeted at the door and they check your coat. Then seat you at the table and just give you time to relax before giving you the wine list. The wine comes as do bread sticks. Then you can take your time to decide what to order. I was torn... This is a very small place, converted from a home and set on a corner. We did not have a reservation on a Friday night, but were quickly ushered to a table. We had a wonderful meal. Our waitress was very helpful with our selections. Price for two people was over $150, but it was worth it. There is a... More

This is the second year in a row my husband and I have participated in Villa Mozart's New Year's Eve three course tasting meal ($73 per person without beverages), and like last year, we enjoyed it-- but not quite as much. Parking IS an issue on New Year's Eve because Fairfax streets are blocked off for the town event; if... More

Atmosphere: Europe 1977; immaculate, quiet, genteel, attention getting aromas. Food: European influence BUT current palate pleasing. Fresh spices & seasonings noted! Price: Expensive by some standards, but WORTH IT as a splurge! Dress: With or without necktie is ok. Return?: No Question!

Had dinner at Villa Mozart while on a business trip to Fairfax. The restaurant is in a converted old home near Main Street. Inside and out, like others have noted, the atmosphere is wonderful. Feels like you are walking into a 19th century home. You are immediately greeted by a very friendly host and server who treats you like an... More

We enjoyed a great lunch at VM the other day. There were five of us for a birthday lunch. I had the Veal which was excellent. I asked for a custom order of carrots and they graciously obliged! The waiter was excellent and all of us enjoyed our various main dishes. We each ordered individual glasses of wine. My chardonnay... More

We went here recently for our anniversary. It was a slow night for them, but a lovely evening for us. The staff was attentive, helpful, and efficient. We chose the three course meal, with main course (vs pasta) option. It was superb! I had beef, my husband had veal. Both terrific! Dessert was also special, and they added a nice... More
