I have been many many times over the years and it was very hard to give them a final rating but I decided that I love it enough for five stars. The food here is the best BBQ in leesburg in my opinion having a very large variety of dishes. The servers are always very hospitable and also very interactive... More

My husband and I stopped here for a late dinner the other night, and were very hungry. However, both of our meals were a bit disappointing. My husband ordered the "Five Meat Treat" with a variety of smoked/grilled meats, and said that many of the meats were dry (as was the chicken I had). However, the meats, especially the chicken, had... More

It's been a few years that we had a meal at Red Hot & Blue. There is always enough food to take home. Service way very good and quick. Most important it tastes great and doesn't break the bank. Enjoy!

Consistently very good.... For a chain it's one of the bests. Portion size very good. Service very good. And most important, the food is very good. Great casual place for lunch or dinner. It's a 3 times per month stop for us...

I hosted a happy hour at Red Hot and Blue with about 25 people who were in Leesburg for a weekend conference. Couldn't have chosen a better place. Good selection of beer, surprisingly decent wine by the glass, and good assortment of soft drinks. The food was good and served hot. The manager, Rachid, and our server, Kristy, went out... More

i've gone here many times in my life and i really struggled with how i was going to rate it. the baked beans are most likely my favorite of all time. the drinks come in personnel mini-pitchers, which is like the coolest thing ever. the food i very exceptional, i would suggest the pulled pork sandwich and hushpuppies. good place... This was just ok. I am not sure if this was just an off day for me or them. I have many that love this restaurant and search for this brand while out of town.

I've tried several times to really like RH&B but it seems I could get the same quality at Safeway. Doesn't seem fresh, service is just ok and music is too loud for background noise. Go to Carolina BBQ in Ashburn instead.

We ordered a barbecued chicken salad and after returning twice to say they were out of ingredients for the salad - the salad was actually quite good. Wait staff was very attentive and the food was served quickly.

Description
Red Hot and Blue is a full-service, casual-themed restaurant chain and caterer featuring delicious award-winning ribs, Memphis-style barbeque, smoked wings, and Southern sides and desserts. The atmosphere is steeped in legendary and contemporary blues music and delivers a large dose of Southern hospitality in a fun and entertaining dining environment. History: The first Red Hot and Blue restaurant opened in Arlington, Virginia in 1988, started by Lee Atwater, Don Sundquist and friends. Don Sundquist was from Memphis and served in the House of Representatives and as governor of Tennessee. The late Lee Atwater was an amateur blues musician and political figure that managed George H.W. Bush's successful race for the presidency. These men were friends who longed for authentic Memphis-style barbeque and great blues music. Unable to find that combination anywhere in the Washington, DC area they decided the only way to get it done was to open a restaurant of their own. The Memphis-style barbeque chain celebrated its 25th Anniversary in 2013 by partnering with a charitable organization at 24 different restaurant locations. The yearlong celebration culminated in the presentation of thousands of dollars in donations to local charities. The Name: The name, "Red Hot and Blue" is taken from the title of D.J. Dewey Phillip's radio show that that aired on WHBQ-AM in Memphis, Tennessee in the 1950s. This radio show launched the careers of Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis and Johnny Cash and broadened the audience for artists such as BB King, Muddy Waters, Robert Cray and Rufus Thomas. Red Hot & Blue Dine-In, Take-Out and Catering. Hickory-smoked Memphis-style BBQ, Ribs, Wings, Beef Brisket, Smoked Chicken, Seafood, Full-service Bar, in a Family-friendly atmosphere with a heapin' helpin' of Southern Hospitality!
