Maybe I went to the place in a different Universe. But I had a great meal there and everyone treated just fine. If I am ever back in Lexington. I will do a MacArthur and I shall return!

Stopped in during a visit to Lexington for lunch. Long line to order, took close to 30 minutes to get our food. Food was good. All day breakfast. I made a comment to the waiter about wether they were short staffed and he said no and then proceeded to try to loud talk me, the customer, about how hard he... More

This cafe is just a few steps from the University. I walked over while my daughter was attending a soccer camp. It wasn't on the recommended list from the coaches, and I am surprised by that. Small, from the front, but lots of seating inside and a courtyard in the back. Soup, sandwiches, and salads are available in addition to... More

Great atmosphere and charm. Food is a tad spendy and baked good portions are small. Still should be on your list of stops.

Shane (the owner) is always welcoming and the food is good. Our favorites are the Jamaican curried chicken with rice and beans. I would also recommend the Jamaican beef patties. The desserts are tasty too. And if you are looking for breakfast they are pretty much the only mom and pop type place in town that is open early.

We were looking for a place to grab a sandwich without sitting in a restaurant. This seems to be a bakery that has a limited lunch menu. Limited is not a bad thing. The food was good and diverse. Homemade potato chips. It's a good place for a casual meal without doing fast food.

Great portion sizes. Cute little Shop with local feeling and attentive staff. I had an omelet and it was the perfect size. Definitely enjoyed our visit

We stopped in for a quick lunch based on reviews from TA :) And, we had a very well executed lunch! I had the cuban sandwich, it was my first ever so I don't have any other cuban sandwiches to compare it to... But, the meat on there was flavorful and it was a good tasting sandwich! It was a... My wife and I had been driving the Blue Ridge Parkway and were looking for an informal late lunch and stopped in here on a whim. Sweet Things is a bakery and restaurant with quite an imagination! We had blackened chicken noodle soup that was really good. We both had sandwiches after that which were surprisingly good. All served by... More

Juicy burger, fresh large bun with melted cheese and tomato and lettuce. House made chips topped it off. Couldn't ask for more. We have had burgers at other local Lexington restaurants and NONE were as good as this one. Will definitely spread the word and return soon.
