Elements is a few miles from the center of Princeton but worth the drive. Check in advance as for much of the year they are only open for dinner. This is a creative restaurant where each dish is thoughtfully prepared and always with a unique twist The wine list is adequate although not exceptional .the price point is medium. Staff... More

New chef so it is still good but not as good as the last time we visited. Lacked a bit of flavor, uses plenty of salt, etc. Squash soup for example last time it was to die for, flavor, presentation, fantastic and I dislike squash. This time quite the presentation but not sure it all complemented each other well, and... More

Okay, here's the deal... You're staying at Primland, and Elements is really the only fine dining option within 50 miles. So you're pretty much a captive customer, which is good and not so good. First, the good. Food quality is very good, even excellent in some cases. The menu is somewhat limited, changes daily, and often offers some creative takes... More

Breakfast was good. The biscuits and gravy was the best thing we had there. For dinner, the service and atmosphere was great, but we weren't impressed with the food. Had the beef tenderloin (was the most expensive item on the menu) and it was just average. The Caesar salad and egg/grits apps were ok. The goat cheese cheesecake was good... More

This was definitely one of the nicest restaurants we've visited at a resort. The food was excellent with a small, but varied menu. The service was polished yet friendly. The chef created unique and delicious choices.

We stayed at the Primland resort for 3 nights and decided to dine at Elements, as a special treat for our friends 40th birthday(s). Everything about Elements was impeccable! The service, the menu, the presentation, the wine, the ambience...Elements is high class dining without being pretentious. At Elements you will feel that warm, southern-charm, with all of the courses served... More

We ate at Elements three nights -- no other choice if you are staying at Primland. Some of the food was just superb -- such as the local lamb prepared three ways. But we also ordered the $59 per plate bison -- and it was so ordinary. Desserts? Middle of the road. Breakfasts: amazing French toast. Everything else, well, ordinary.... More
