My wife and U sat on the boulevard & enjoyed great 2 for 1 mojitos. They had a free cup of yucca chips which were very tasty. We also had nachos and tortilla soup which were ok. My main advice would be is, if it...More

The food here was very good. Good portions and great value. If you want to try Ceviche try it here as it is a bass Ceviche so super mild, you don't even know you are eating fish. Sit outside and enjoy the evening vibe. Friendly...More

Nectar proudly boasts the best fish tacos in Granada and they are mighty fine. Helpful, friendly and quick service when I was there with the added bonus of an excellent spot for people-watching. Nice Macua as well and all decently priced.

We went here twice: once for lunch, once for happy hour. We think the problem is poor management. On the lunch visit, we ordered our two lunch dishes, waited the usual time to get them, and the waiter showed up with one of our lunches...More

Loved visiting Nectar from 3-5 for their Happy Hour. $1.50 Macua (rum, guava, oj) and Pineapple mojitos were delicious.

As noted for my review for Viva Nicaragua, I was in a funny situation for June 2017 -- I needed a cool place somewhere in the world to hang out for a month and somewhat randomly chose Granada. In 5 weeks, I tried just about...More

Great for happy hour cocktails and plantain chips but we stayed for dinner one evening and the fish tacos were not so great (very small pieces of fish and lacking in flavor overall). Would definitely recommend for drinks/cocktails/happy hour, but skip the food and go...More

This is one of the best restaurants on the street, especially for vegans. Lovely & fast service, great garden and delicious food. They really go out of their ways to make you have a great time and great food. Would definitely go back,

Calle Calzada is known as "gringo street" due to all of the western tourists. You can find the street behind the cathedral. Nectar is one of the better restaurants. None of them are great value; but the street is lively with music and good people...More

We visited here on Xmas for dinner and sat at an outside table right on Calle La Calzada. The street was very busy with people and we were constantly approached by street vendors throughout our meal. We enjoyed watching the break dancers who came to...More

Description
Nectar Restaurant & Bar is located on Calle La Calzada, a pedestrian-friendly street in the heart of Granada's historic colonial downtown. Located only 1/2 block East (towards the Lake) of Parque Central & the main Cathedral, our street-side dining offers up the best people watching around while our beautiful covered courtyard provides some peaceful respite from Granada's hustle and bustle. We've got you covered for whatever mood your in. We delight in offering a menu featuring some traditional Nicaraguan fare (Enchiladas, Tostones con Queso, Ropa Vieja and more), wonderful organic salads, tasty ceviche, fish tacos, burritos & homemade desserts, including Cheesecake, Flan de Coco and our world famous Lava Cake. ALL of our rum cocktails are made with Nicaraguan Flor de Cana rum, never the cheap stuff. We also offer up some local Craft Beer, made available by our friends at La Portena in San Juan Del Sur as well as Campo Brew Co. out of Tola. We source all our products locally and shop daily to ensure we have the freshest of the fresh. And perhaps most importantly, our staff is the real thing-- warm, friendly, and genuinely caring. Hard-working Nicaraguan hospitality at its very best! Be sure to check out our 2x1 Happy Hour from 3-6 Daily or stop by and enjoy our below zero beer. Perfect for those hot Granada days!
