Very plain. I was expecting something more. Rancheros had sweet tomato, hard tortilla and cooked through eggs. Nicaragua doesn't seem to have the strongest breakfast game in Nicaragua so far! This is around 80-90c for one of the main breakfasts but they aren't very filling. Service was lovely though! I'm just going to go with 10c fruit lady for breakfast... More

Was a bit of a struggle to find this place - don't trust the map on here use the description to find it! I tried the quesillos and also had the quesadillas. It was all pretty standard grub but for about £3 for the meal you can't really complain. Great if you are on a budget.

I found everything we tried here great - though my girlfriend didn't like the tiste (our first time trying it) because tiste is gritty. The quesillos are great as well.

A great small family-owned eatery. Definitely try the quesillos. The staff is friendly and they have a wide variety of dishes for good prices.

Cafetin El Volcan has a variety of choices, i will be honest and tell you that i went for the thing that they are known for which is Quesillos. Quesillos are not from Granada but my opinion is that El Volcan is one of the places where they best make them in Granada. A good place to try a Quesillo... More

My favorite is Cacao which is a handmade chocolate milk served over crushed ice. Sounds strange but is delicious. 30 Córdoba which is about $1.05.

The tiste was delicious but the quesillo was a bit cold and wasn't very special. The atmosphere was fine and the staff were friendly and accommodating. I wouldn't go back for the quesillo but I'd have the tiste there again!

Great local place run by a wholesome Latin family who seem to really care about their family business. Huge menu, one of the best Gallo pinto's I've ever tried and super delicious tostones (patacones). Really cheap and big, filling portions. Much better value and authentic than that horrible Taco Stop, go here! Great place to go for a local breakfast... More

Order a quesillo and bebida de cacao and you'll have a cheap, tasty lunch. The quesillos are tortillas with melted cheese and come with onions, salsa, and sour cream. They also have burritos, quesadillas, and burgers. My whole meal was less than $3 both times I came here. There are a good number of tables and the staff is friendly.
