Came here on the last day of our holidays and as a birthday lunch for my husband. Loved the funky decor, thought the food was very good, the two guys who served us friendly and helpful, but I found the atmosphere strange. I wonder is...More

We went there because the place looks really nice . The presentation of the food was good , but the food itself was not ! The flavor was missing and the consistency was bad . The mineral water was extremely overpriced and the white wine...More

I couldn’t fault this place. I found it worthy of a spot in Mayfair or manhattan (I live in London and like fine dining). I found both the food and wine excellent and of international high end quality. I had the pork salad to start,...More

We shared a cheese plate with cheeses from different regions of Nicaragua and also a delicious ceviche. Lovely, restored old building, with a garden. Kind of spendy, but worth the splurge...

We walked in here looking for a place for lunch. Immediately we fell in love with the interior (and the bunny rabbits that hop around the inner garden)! The staff was friendly and the food was very good. The downside: is it very expensive for...More

Location, design of the cafe as well as furnishing are a dream. Products have acceptable quality. Waiter does not know what espresso macchiato is. Slow service. No artistic pictures in the milk foam. Talk to the customer is not the strength of the waiters. Love...More

The ambiance was lovely but the food was expensive and not impressive. The staff were very eager to please and it was appreciated... I prefer more local flavour

I invited my best friend to Espressonista for her birthday dinner on the last day of our trip to Nicaragua. The place was calm and distinctive, beautifully decorated. Staff was kind, discreet and generous. I had the octopus as an entrée. I think it is...More

Modern environment in a neoclassical property constructed in 1886. We've forged a relationship with Nicaragua's best coffee producers to provide you with an excellent cup. High altitude, shade grown boutique crops yield coffees with a crisp and balanced acidity, roundness, sweetness and rich chocolate-like brews. These farmers know what they do. The poetry is ever intended at Espressonista. On your table we serve local, slightly smoked ham. The brie, the camembert and manchego are also from Masatepe and Matagalpa. Organic lettuce, baby asparagus and other greens from Ticuantepe. Chez nous, we know where everything comes from. We bake our own pastries and breads, make our own ice creams, brew our own beer. We love food, drink and good company. Join us!
