Spaghetti Bolognese good, portion sizes average-large. Service was friendly, the staff knew some customer's by name which was nice. I would recommend this as good value food to please anyone.

It was great to have a restaurant in the hotel and the food was fine. We were shocked to hear that it has closed!

This place reminds me of what Cracker Barrel restaurants were 30 years ago. Pretty standard menu, but local favorites like trout. Anything Apple is awesome. Get extra fritters because they are addictive

Nice clean restaurant for lunch or dinner. It's the last of this chain that the waitress said. Limited menu. Great staff. The food was good. Prices also good. I would go back again

We made a special trip to the Johnny Appleseed while visiting the area. Our waitress greeted us with a small sampling of warm apple fritters with powdered sugar which was a nice surprise after a long day. Although their fried chicken wasn't easy to find on the menu, it was as delicious as we'd heard. Very flavorful but not too... More

This was the restaurant next to the hotel. The food was decent. Chicken and biscuits were hot and tasted good. Waitress Theresa pretty much ignored us after we received our food. No refills on drinks. If I wanted to serve myself, I would have stayed at home. Restaurant was clean and food was delivered quickly.

Well I have to say I was excited when we drove in. The inside beautiful...the drinks were amazing tables lit with candles..with two apple fritters on the tables. Then we ordered our food. I ordered ham with mashed potatoes and green beans. Absolutely horrible. I ate half. I don't think the mashed potatoes were real or the gravy. Then companion... More

Late dinner before closing! Still good service and fresh hot meal at twenty minutes to closing time. The waitress was wonderful.

We had dinner and the food and service were good. The fried chicken was very juicy and hot out of the fryer. We are from Maryland and the crab cakes were good. Our waitress was very good and friendly. The hostess was also very friendly and cheerful. When we told her that the statue out front was not working she... More

The food was very tasty, service good and menu reasonably priced but the condition of the restaurant is very poor. Booth seats are ripped, wall paper is from 1980's or older and rubbery plastic table clothes - tacky. We almost left based on the looks of the place but food was very good.

Thank CVagle
