The service was so friendly and attentive, but unobtrusive. I loved the chicken satay and heavenly beef appetizers. I always get the holy basil with beef (beef kapow), but other friends swear by their red and green curry. What makes this place better than other Thai places locally is the clean, modern interior.

Co worker told me about this place. I had to try because I have had great Pad thai in other places. Since I moved to Virginia I have not found a lot of places that make good food. It was good and I keep gong back they cook it to your taste from Mild to spicy I pick Spice level... More

Good meal while sitting outside on a gorgeous spring evening. Good service as well. Only issue was there was a Thai iced tea on the menu. I ordered "iced tea," thinking I was getting a Thai iced tea (the only one mentioned on menu) but a normal American style iced tea came. Kind of bummed since the menu didn't note... More

What a great mix, Thai and Sushi. The hot spicy accents of traditional Thai food combined with the delicate flavors of traditional sushi. Without a doubt, we feel this is the best sushi restaurant in Newport News, located in the Port Warwick community on Styron Square.

What a hidden gem, these guys will not let you down. The food, serves and atmosphere are perfect. They bring you excellent food at a very good price. Their Sushi and Sashimi lunch Combo was tremendous and plentiful. Don't miss out, you'll regret it. Kudos to the whole crew!

My husband & I have been eating at Thaijindesu for the last 7-8 years & I can’t believe I’ve never reviewed it! We’ve dined in & enjoyed tons of take out from this Thai/Japanese restaurant. The restaurant is beautiful & intimate inside, & they have a small outdoor patio w/ umbrellas as well. Everyone from Ken the owner, to each... More

Sushi was fresh and the appitser was excellent. I got the shrimp bikini and for sushi I got the Special Florida Roll. Staff was friendly! The only negative thing I could say is they were not very busy and I had to wait to be seated and took awhile for them to come over after being seated.

I come here for lunch quite a bit and I have never been disappointed with the quality of the food. The sushi is always fresh, made-to-order deliciousness. My only warning is the last few times I have been there has only been one waitress and one sushi chef working so be prepared to wait a bit if there are more... More
