First the guy greeted me, then had a 45 sec conversation with a co worker while I just stood there. Second, the place literally never has red onions. I don't understand how they never have them when red onions go on their signature sandwich ?? The manager got loud and snapped at me when I was asking about this. Just... More

The pizza was good and the portions on the sandwiches and salad were generous. However, the restaurant could use cleaning. The floor was sticky and appeared to have not been swept in days. There were several items on the menu that were unavailable.

The last time I was there they only had two salads. I ordered the cranberry, pecan, apple and chicken salad, which was supposed to be on mixed field greens with red onions in addition to cranberries, pecans, apples and chicken. The salad that I got was on bits of romaine lettuce (mainly the crunchy inside part) with white onions and... More

I like looking at the menu and imagining that my sandwich is going to be somewhere close to what I want but every time I get my sandwich, the bread ruins it for me. Is it supposed to be somewhat stale? Extra crunchy? Maybe that's a part of the plan. Where is the soup in this deli? So many unanswered... More

A friend and I were attending a function in downtown Norfolk and ate here one day. The menu was standard and the service friendly. Getting to the public bathroom was a bit uncomfortable because of all the empty boxes in the hallway. The bathrooms are single stall and I had to use the one opposite my gender. I feel the... More

In Norfolk for a conference, unfortunately not many food choices close, but I wouldn't eat there again. We picked up sandwiches and went to our hotel 30 minutes away. I began eating before I realized they had given us the wrong type of sandwich and had an allergic reaction. He had ordered carefully knowing my allergy. The next day, my... More

I ate at Schlotzskys several years ago and returned there recently. It is so filthy I couldn't stay. The condoment and drink area were all stained and had trash just laying around and it was sticky. The cooking area had old wash pans stacked up and looked like rusting abandoned steel mill. Floor was nasty and tables haven't been cleaned... More

I was staying at the Marriott across Main Street. The hotel options are limited and pricey, and I did not wish to walk in the perpetual rain. I therefore popped in, looking for a quick sandwich at a reasonable price. Schlotzsky's fit the bill. It is neither charming nor hip, but the sandwiches and beer were good, and the service... More

I had a very good toasted club sandwich; and my wife enjoyed a very fresh Greek salad for lunch. Both were of high quality and very affordable. It's right across the street from the waterfront Marriott. I highly recommend it.

At a convention in the Marriott Hotel. This is just so convenient, right across the street. I like the original on sour dough with all the fixings. I've never checked the health labels but it does taste good and it has veggies!
