Phillip hosted our annual business Christmas dinner this year. The food and service was amazing. We have visited his restaurant on numerous other occasions, and the experience is alway second to none. I highly recommend trying Vintage Kitchen.

Just finished a delicious dinner at Vintage Kitchen. Every dish from she crab soup, sliders with foie gras to pork tenderloin was perfectly prepared. Ended our meal with creme brulee. We enjoyed this meal and excellent service with views of the James River.

We had lunch here. We had a view of the water and the space is contemporary and bright. We shared the pumpkin soup. We probably shouldn't have. It is so delicious, even though the bowl looks big you would want the whole thing. The croutons...More

The restaurant is a very handsome and pleasant setting. The food took longer to arrive, for a business lunch for 6, than we would have liked. But it was well prepared and good. The sauce on the fish I ordered was far too salty. The...More

The parking garage is right next-door. You walk from the inside of the garage to the inside of the hotel. The restaurant validate your parking ticket so you end up parking for free.

Description
Featuring sweeping views of the Elizabeth River from the waterfront ballroom, terrace, and herb garden, VINTAGE KITCHEN has quickly become a community favorite. Burled wood floors, black leather benches, and the patina of a copper bar provide a relaxing and elegant setting for award-winning modern cuisine, simply prepared and stylishly presented, using the freshest local and regional produce in season, with a focus on artisan-crafted Virginia wines, cheeses, and micro-brewed beers. The area’s most discriminating clientele dine in an exclusive private library and digital theater with a backstage look into the kitchen, by appointment or invitation only, where daily 7-course bespoke tasting menus are offered graciously by hometown Chef/Owner Phillip Craig Thomason.
