The restaurant in this iconic hotel is rather dull, bigger than necessary, uninteresting locality. But the food is surprisingly good, we had dinner 2 evenings. Everything tasted good, Service is ok. Dinner start 8.30 pm is nothing for us, but in this part of Spain they have unfortunately not changed the tradition

We came from Mazarron in September for a weekend, it was a heat wave, but in the parador in the room was cool with the air conditioning. They speak very good english at the reception. Nice building and friendly people, we recommend a visit!

We enjoyed a lovely dinner and breakfast and had one of the nicest waitresses we've ever had. (She spoke no English and our Spanish is poor.) She made recommendations on what to try and all were delicious. We had excellent service.

Ate two breakfasts during our stay and would rate those as fair. Our tour group had one included dinner and it was among the best meals we had on the trip. We also couldn't find a restaurant that looked interesting as we returned to the hotel one of the days and decided to eat lunch at the hotel. We were... More

I am not sure if this is normal, but during our visit it seemed that only part of the restaurant was open for dinner. As a result we ended up in a narrow, L-shaped room with only a dozen or so tables. For a restaurant in what is an expensive hotel we thought the menu choices were poor, and thought... More

The dinners we had were both very tasty. The service was excellent and friendly. The portions of swordfish and chicken were very generous. Dessert also was very good.

Wonderful food on Christmas Eve, a perfect start to our stay in Ubeda. Nothing was too much trouble, a packed restaurant but the staff were on top of everything, and no one was kept waiting, food was hot and wine glasses always topped up.

Decided to have a drink in the bar downstairs and waited ages for someone to appear to take our order. The barman was less than gracious when he appeared 15 minutes later. Upstairs, we were the only people in the restaurant for some time, eventually being joined by a few others, but atmosphere was chilly. I wanted a glass of... More

Although quite expensive at €31 plus wine the food was excellent. The menu features local specialities and there was not a chip in sight unlike many restaurants that cater for the tourist trade.
