Great food, great prices

We ended up eating here 3/4 nights due to the hotel food being a bit meh. Each night we tried something new with each dish being great value for money. The staff were attentive and chatty, and the food was 10/10. We would definitely visit here again if we are ever in the area :)

Great steaks

Visited here twice during our holiday and both times the food was excellent. The sirloin steak was cooked perfectly and the portion size was spot on. The bruschetta starter, chicken fajitas and ribs are also highly recommended. Very nice cocktails. All of the staff are friendly and welcoming and the prices are very reasonable. Would definitely visit here again.

Great Atmosphere

Lovely family run restaurant. Visited twice in our 2 weeks, both times food was outstanding . The owners Elizabeth and Helmut also own the Tapas restaurant directly facing(Tonys) well worth a visit. Andy & Bev

Nightmare

I was celebrating 50th birthday here!!steak supposed to be med rare i got well done piece of steak. Was like rubber. My baked patato needed salt so i ask for salt after 15 min went to bar and got it myself. My friend ordered another beer nobody brought anything. Ask for check server ask you still want the beer? After 20 min when paying the check? No thank you and never again. Stay away from this place was horrible!!!! Absolute disaster

After a pandemic let’s appreciate the first customers a tiny little bit

The economy is dead and has been . The burger had a frozen old bun . That might be ok because the food wasn’t terrible but the waitress was tired and maybe that’s excusable in September after a hard season. But she never returned to the table in a nearly empty Restuarant. I just wanted to be asked how it was and not have her relagate my Table to a 16 year old Sweedish colleague who , bless her heart , doesn’t understand the dynamics of customer service . This place is not cheap , right on the main drag , and the mosquitoes are out ! Are they her fault ? Of course not . But a modicum of attention and even a fake smile would have to gone far

Poor experience

Sadly, there is nothing positive about our visit to this restaurant. I can cut the staff some slack as it’s the end of the season, however not one smile during my the service matched the food that was served. The grilled chicken breast, definitely boiled. Maybe thrown on to a high heat grill for a minute to finish but cooked by boiling. The kids pizza. Frozen pizza. The fish. Frozen fish. The burger with grilled bacon and fried egg. The bun must be weeks old. The fried egg had no yolk. The bacon had been ‘cooked’ under a lamp. One bite was taken and left in full. Not that the waiting staff ever asked how our meal was. Disinterested is the word that would summarise our visit. Not a member of staff waiting or in the kitchen seemed interested in any reasonable level of quality.

Wouldn’t recommend or go back

Serving ladies were lovely, pity about the rest. Starters arrived promptly…then it took an hour & half to get our mains. Steak not cooked as I asked, two small tortillas for a whole skillet of meat & veg (chicken fajitas)…they took €2 off the bill. Also, ants crawling all over us as we ate…just our experience though. Hope others have better

Disappointing

Was looking forward to this meal, however fillet steak was over cooked. I asked for medium/well done but was advised that medium was very bloody. Waitress suggested I had well done. Big mistake, it was dry and tough. Also, jacket potato was under cooked, I asked for a replacement but at the end of the meal was told there were none already cooked and ready. I did see other people being served jacket potatoes. All in all a very disappointing experience.

Worst meal, worst service and expensive. Worst resturant I have been to in the world, and I have holidayed from Skegness uk to Cuba Caribbean. Waited 30 minutes for 3 mixed grills and fillet steak all served cold and inedible. When the staff were informed we were told to our amazement our dissatisfaction was unfortunate. This comment came from a cocky ignorant and should be unemployed staff member.

Long wait and disappointing food.

We had just arrived for our first night in Cala Dor. We found this restaurant based on the good reviews. The starter we had was really nice but took a while to come. The mains took even longer, nearly an hour we had to wait and when they did finally arrive we had to send one of the burgers back because it was really burnt and barely edible. The other chicken burger was very average. Would not come back here again.

Kids chicken fillet was absolutely terrible! A tiny chicken breast 4 chips and a lot of cucumber and tomato. Asked for a steak…medium…what I got was a grisly cold steak that had been shown the heat but not actually cooked on the heat ie so rare it still had a pulse! If a Steakhouse can’t get a steak cooked correctly run!!!

Western steakhouse, should be called last chance saloon!

If you want slow, slow, slow service and a meal which arrives 1 hour after ordering, then this is the place for you! Food came out cold and the children’s pizza was unavailable after ordering (ordered chicken nuggets as an alternative and they arrived twice.) Burger was like a lump of leather according to my wife. All in all a disappointing experience.

Avoid - rude staff boring food

Rude staff poor food! We sat down and were greeted (I use the term loosely) by a young dark haired waitress who was very stern and not welcoming at all. We ordered drinks which she brought and then we said we were ready to order, at which point she told us that she was not ready to take our order as she had other tables to attend to! She was beyond rude! I wanted to leave at this point but my husband wanted to try the food, we shouldn’t have bothered! The starters were mediocre, my husbands prawns did not look cooked enough and he said they tasted strange. I ordered a steak medium and it came medium rare, there was no way it was medium, I did eat it as I don’t mind a bit of blood. I ordered a sauce and I have never seen anything so funny, it was a tiny bit of sauce not even enough to coat the steak. The meal was dry and boring as was my husbands mix grill which was cooked to within an inch of its life! Obviously we did not complain as the waitress was so so rude. There was a really cheerful young man there too but unfortunately we were not lucky enough to get him. They seemed to not like the English customers as I witnessed the rude waitress being just as rude to another English customer. Give this place a wide birth if you are visiting Cala Egos there are so much nicer places to go that actually want your custom!

Smirking and rude waitresses

I followed the top steakhouses on trip advisor and went here faithfully . Asked for well done steak , a menu option , which was met with two smirking blonde waitresses. I sent my dinner back 3 times and eventually the waitress made a face behind my back which my husband caught because I sent it back agian because my steak looked like a skint knee . My husband went up to complain and they gave my dinner for nothing . My gripe is simply that I ordered from the menu and didn’t get what I ordered . The ignorant waitresses were rude and not very nice at all . My steak was like cutting an old leather shoe. My other family memenrs food was ok . The restaurant is run by young servers who swan about like they are on a Night out and not bothered about customer service . Poor poor service and quality of food

I have had many a fillet steak in many fancy restaurants inc Marco Pierre White's which was average! I must say this place does the best medium fillet I have had in a long time, perfectly cooked, tender and succulent, absolutely fabulous!! Make sure you know what medium means and you will love it. Also as many extra chips as you like foc. I will definitely be going back!!👏
