Toni, and his team, would like to welcome you to our Mediterranean restaurant based in Cala Egos, Cala d’Or. We speak, English, German, French, Dutch, Polish, and more! We have an extensive menu of fresh fish, meat, pizzas & a large variety of tapas & snacks. Patricia, our Chef's specialty is Paella, walk-in or book in advance so we can prepare your paella & avoid the necessary waiting time. We have the best breakfasts in the area, inc, British & Mediterranean. We make our own special sangria and have a lounge area to relax with drinks or a cocktail or 2! We would like to make your stay a memorable one, please do not hesitate to call us to book or with any special requests. We will always do our best to accommodate. Wonderful dining experience

We have eaten at Tentol’s many times and we love it! The food is excellent and the service superb. We had breakfast, paella, pizza, pasta and steak… Tentol’s has lots of variety of food to choose from. You can have paella only for one person as well which is very hard to find. Tapas are excellent, too…Tony and team will take good care of you. One restaurant you should definitely dine at.

Unlike many places we make all paellas fresh to order, as it has not been frozen or pre-portioned it enables us to do individual paellas (as long as we are not too busy) We are so happy to hear you are pleased with the service and dishes we offer. Fabulous restaurant!!

Just got back from a lovely visit to Cala Egos, Restaurante Tentol was our favourite place to eat. I can definitely recommend, you will not be disappointed! Tony & Miguel are the best hosts and were so great and friendly to our children also. We ate here for breakfast, lunch & dinner over a few days and everything was great quality and delicious. The English breakfasts are a must! Thank you for your hospitality Tony & Miguel we will definitely return, looking forward to it!

Surprising find.

Very quiet here just before 8.00 but gradually filled but to more than maybe a third of capacity. Deserves to be busier. From an extremely low price point (albeit similar to other local restaurants) this place definately looks to be one of the smartest. Good efficient friendly service and a hand with the wine list. Garlic prawns to kick off were sweet and cooked well. Two pizza main course, both good rather than excellent (rather heavy and with too much cheese on one) but very tasty. A couple of free limoncello sealed off the meal. All in this place is much much better than it’s price would suggest. Just over 50 euros for a glass of cava, small beer, garlic prawns and x2 pizzas plus a bottle of wine. Bargain. Give it a whirl.

Very salty cooking but friendly

We had a relaxed and quiet family lunch at this friendly restaurant. The food was good value but all of us found it rather salty. My husband and I had omelettes that were far too salty. The chilli on nachos however was tasty and rich.

Lovely veggie paella!

As a vegetarian, it’s sometimes hard to find good veggie foods on holiday but tentol had an amazing vegetarian paella. I polished off the lot. My mother had the seafood paella and she also loved hers. I will definitely be back!

Another beautiful meal in pleasant surroundings

Out third visit to Tentol the last back in 2021 and we were not disappointed after a day visiting favourite places and a little shopping in Cala Dor we agreed this was where we wanted to eat dinner ! Food was served in good time and the desserts wow absolutely beautiful especially the tiramisu, I should add I think the desserts are very reasonably priced to the point of being cheap but are perfect ending to a fabulous meal ! We look forward to visiting again very soon.

A really enjoyable experience - top staff

Had our first meal of the holiday here and it was so good we went back on the last night of our trip. The staff are attentive and friendly - which is always a good start. The food is top-notch. We were a party of 10, and no one had a single complaint about any of the dishes. I had the fish Paella and then the mixed paella and both dishes were superb. The Brownie and Ice cream were also lovely. The local lager on tap is a delight too. Can't fault this place at all.

Great choice, service and value

We ate here twice whilst on a short break in Cala Egos. This is a nice traditional restaurant with a great menu, they are adaptable too. We ate John Dory, lamb chops and fillet steaks. As a starter I had baby squid one evening (a very generous and delicious portion) and on our second visit we just shared a small salad and some bread and butter as a starter which suited us. Desserts were very nice too. We had crème Catalan and ice cream. The range of four was excellent and the quality of food and service was too. Thoroughly recommended.

Great food and friendly staff

We have been to Cala Egos many times but for some reason we had never tried this restaurant. We went twice this year. Food was good and welll priced but mainly the staff were the most friendly by far compared to restaurants in the area. Cannot wait to return next time in the area.

Best food from this holiday

Wow ! Whatever food you have from here is beautiful. The staff are super friendly and very professional. Prices are very good and portion size are perfect. We have not had a bad meal here and would highly recommend “ everything on the menu “😂. The paella is unreal and guarantee you won’t be disappointed. Definitely give this very friendly clean place a try.

Patricia our chef does make a great paella and as it's freshly made to order (which often isn't the case) she can normally adjust to make it suit preferences. Ate here at both breakfast and evening meal times. It's one of the best in the area. Their large breakfast is really excellent and good value. A la carte menu at night time is varied and anything I had on it was delicious. Service is good. Would recommend.

Really nice meal yet again with great service. Reasonable priced menus with friendly staff. We had tapas starters followed by a T bone steak and sea bass. All was well cooked and presented

Tentol Restaurant - excellent choice

We ate at this restaurant on several occasions on our recent holiday to Cala D'Or. The restaurant has excellent food choices and tasty good size portions at reasonable prices. The staff are very nice and friendly. The service is very good. Lovely setting, very clean. Would definitely recommend eating here.

Lovely restaurant with good food and friendly staff

We went to this restaurant twice while we stayed in Cala Egos. Staff very friendly. We had tapas the first night we were there and on the 2nd night I had some Menieure and my mother had John Dory with cava sauce. All food was very tasty.

Tentol Restaurant

Visited here 3x at our stay on holiday First time was for a snack which was lovely so went back on the night few nights after the Steak and chips and salad were lovely and what was better was the Mateus Rose wine 🍷 followed by lovely desert. We will be going back later on in the week for another meal. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant was spotless too. 10/10 worth the visit if your around area.
