Definitely worth the trip! Go early (around 5ish) and avoid the long lines. I love how you can split a pizza with someone and eat order your own 1/2. And that crust...delish!

Love love love the Ho. The award winning pizzas (oh, that Margherita!) are superb, the salads are superior and even the curry bowls are delectable. Cheeseburgers are a big hit, and the thin fries (a mountain of 'em) inspire filching- it is a good thing they come in piles. Soups- phantastic! Most everything is Ho'made, and delicious. Big desserts. Humble... More

I had heard that Dr. Ho's was a popular place in Charlottesville, and I wanted to try it too. This was a great find and they had absolutely wonderful food. They have a variety of foods including pizza, soups, salads, as well as appetizers.

We were unsuccessful in visiting Pippin Hill Vineyard, but, being hungry, stumbled across this great pizza joint in an unassuming office complex. We owe this find to Siri! Pizza was seriously some of the best we have ever had--and we have eaten and made a lot of pizza! Terrific taste, topping, and crust. Great beer options and casual vibe too.... More

Got the Jack London and Humble Pie yesterday. Fresh toppings come in large quantities and are excellent. Cool decor make this a sweet spot to eat. Highly recommended!

After getting a great recommendation from a friend we stopped on our latest travels on RT 29. Well worth the stop. But first - finding it. North Garden is not your average metropolitan area with the suburbs letting you know you are getting close to downtown. Actually look for the large white building on the east side by the intersection.... More

Had a wonderful stop at Blenheim Vineyards and this was recommended to us. Never would have seen it otherwise. Yum. The sliced beef salad was awesome. The fat and sassy was incredible. The chicken and dumplings soup was awesome. I bought some ranch dressing to come home. It was very crowded on Sunday. Service was great. I recommend it! Family... More

Dr. Ho's Humble Pie Restaurant is conveniently located on Route 29 just south of Charlottesville, an area without a lot of options. It was recommended to us, so we stopped in and were glad we did. It is fairly spacious and has a good menu for appetizers, soups, burgers, sandwiches, salads, pizzas, and a few other entrees. The Stromboli was... More

During a recent trip we stopped at Dr. Ho's. We were pleasantly surprised. The menu had a lot of choices. The pizzas looked good with some very different toppings. I decided on pizza. It was very good. It was very busy but our food came pretty quick. The drink menu had a large wine and beer selection. We would eat... More
