It is a pretty and unspoilt place in lovely surroundings. A walk around will not take long! We saw at least two restaurants tucked away by the church (locked) that looked as though they might be very good. Hair-raising drive from Bunyola, much easier from Alaro.

this town is remote and that is what is magical about it. Great views, extremely quiet. a few restaurants but a great faraway haven.

We tried the roast kid and partridge dishes. Both were tasty and filling. Not fine dining but well prepared and enjoyable. There is a good selection of local dishes on the menu. Large portions. Lots of great Majorcan wines to choose from. The house red was very nice and not expensive. Busy at lunchtimes. We would definitely return.

This is a local spanish restaurant mainly used by locals - the food is typically spanish a mix of tapas and main courses. the Paella was very good and the carafe of house wine most acceptable. The service is efficient but not necessarily fast but pleasant bearing in mind we did not speak spanish. Very good value and well worth... More

Despite the fact that this restaurant is right next to the main street, it's o.k. to sit outside on the green patio and enjoy some drinks and tapas (or have some local main dish). Nice personnel.

Very busy at lunchtimes but if you do call try the Partridge with mushroom sauce. This is a traditional Mallorcan restaurant , a place to visit and enjoy original rustic food. Don't expect to be treated as someone special. The service is good but don't expect smiley waiters and fuss. Relax and enjoy Orient, a bottle of wine and freshly... More

Stopped in there after a beautiful walk to the Orient. Order taken begrudgingly and when we asked for help calling a taxi so we could get to our car we were just ignored.

Very remote. No shops at all. Very much on the cyclists circuit. Lovely area for walking. Lots of fruit trees and olive groves on terraces.

It seems we were guests beneath both waiters dignity. We're sorry we made them serve us against their wills. We won't bother them again.
