So if you drove by this place, or even walked in, you may drive on past or walk back out. It's not very decorated and the tables are always consistently sticky. I've been there 5 or 6 times and every single time they are sticky. The new waitresses are not very attentive, but the food? Its perfect every single time.... More

This resturant is a lot better than it looks. The chef is consistent and the food is fresh. It's good quality and I highly recommend the chicken and vegetables with rice. They have a take out drive thru hidden on the side near the gym. It's also healthy if you don't over-do the shrimp sauce which I admit is tempting... More

Our drinks had stuff floating in it. Everything looked dirty. We left and will not be going back. The servers are friendly, the menu looks good, but the un identified floating objects in our drinks were deal breakers.

Food is delicious and you do get a lot of it. However, for a dinner its $15 a person give or take a dollar or two. Considering you can go a few miles down tbe road and visit an all you can eat buffet of chinese and japanese for $10 it is hard to justify the price. As other people... More

When I walked in the staff was sitting in the dining area eating. Sat down and had to ask the table to be cleaned - sticky. Even after cleaning was still sticky. Ordered the hibachi shrimp. Shrimp was cooked perfectly. Fried rice was boring Vegetables sort of an unusual combination - squash, onions, and mushrooms. After serving me my waitress... More

Everything seems dirty. The windows are almost greasy. It needs a GOOD deep cleaning. I use to love the food there several years ago. But was and had never been cleaned. I went from going couple times a week to never. My daughter talked me into trying them again. I went through the dirty door order but just could not... More

We were staying in Norton for business and were looking for a healthy meal. We wandered in to Yamato's...at first not sure because the outside looks a little run down, and the inside not much better. But the food? Amazing! I ordered the steak and veggies and my husband had the shrimp from the lunch menu. They were both delicious... More

Driving into the sleepy little town of Norton Virginia, I was surprised to see a Japanese restaurant. The atmosphere was blah but the food was very good, at a reasonable price, and the service was excellent.

Usually eat the chicken dinners. You get a lot of vegetables and rice with your dinner but its the shrimp sauce that makes everything better. You eat it on your salad and pour it over your food. Don't forget to try the carrots.
