Friendly and familiar welcome, reasonable price and simple and correct food. Good place to eat. I would like to be able to write this review in the town's language, catalan.

We went there on recommendation from our hotel receptionst and was pleasently surprised. The place was full and people even waited for tables. Food is simple, but well tasting. You dont get e.g. decorations, just what you order which in turn is well made. House wine is very reasonably priced and a very good try. try the fried anchovies as... More
We were perhaps a little early for the Spanish. when we arrived our host was very busy and on his own. We were 4 Aussie and only speak english, communication was difficult and the service was slow. We were about to leave when some older children and a lady arrived. The verbal communication didn't improve much but the service was... More
Typical local restaurant with no airs and graces, simple food served quickly by a couple of grandmother types, no fuss or bother and sensible prices. Ideal for a quick lunch or you could stay for ages if you want to sobremessiar.
I will never forget the food I order. It is local restaurant with delicious foods. Try sea food and ask for a special dressing source with Mayonnaise for fried fish The staff are so friendly . old lady with smile know English well. Try it. Try it. Try it.
It would be unfair to say don't go here for gourmet cooking as this is not what this restaurant is about. We'd tried the top rated restaurants in Cadaques and wanted something more down to earth. On the other end the fried calamari were not that great. Price, including salad, was less than 20 euro per person which was actually great considering quality... More
This restaurant reminds me of the places I used to eat at in Granada in the 1970's. local, well cooked food, served promptly and without ceremony. I enjoyed beautifully presented carpaccio of bacalao and delicious chicken. Red wine at 6 euros a bottle and a good cafe cortado to finish. Great atmosphere too.
