We come here almost for 30 years and eat the most delicious fish. The menu is the same for years but never boring. The menu card is in four languages and you can speak English or German. The restaurant is located on the beach in a top location, beautiful sunset! If you want to eat there make a reservation. At... More

Although it seems one of these typical 'chiringuitos' you may find in most of the spanish coast, this one is above average in quality, in fact, it's good enough if you're around, price-wise acceptable and decent seafood. Pk nearby.

Pretty nice location and it feels like having dinner on the beach. Very busy place with a lot of dutch tourists. Quality of food is average. The value for tapas is not that good. 6 fried squid rings for more than 5 euro is ridicilous. Quality of wine is so-so according their prices. We went once and thats way enough... More

Solimar is located just at the beach, so venue itself is lovely. And the food doesn't lag behind - we've had there paellas (both Valenciana and pure seafood), fideuada, fish soup and desserts - and all was top notch (tasted better than in 7portes in Barcelona)

Superb paella by the beach. The staff were very busy I felt we were a little rushed as people were waiting apart from that very good.

The staff were quite unfriendly, I got the feeling that they were scared of the head waiter, who was verging on rude. This created a tense atmosphere, which was really not what we wanted; especially with the high food prices. We were told we couldn't have an outside table, as they were all reserved. Although there were empty tables outside... More

The restaurant had a great location but unfortunately the food did not live up to expectations. The staff though were very friendly. I would not put my name to recommend this restaurant.

The restaurant occupies a prime location on the beach and therefore is generally popular. We had an ok meal there, however, the staff weren't overly friendly or accommodating, shame.
