Went there with the family, 4 of us. Got the Sunday roast, ordered different options: pork, lamb and beef. All delicious. Great Stickly toffee dessert. + getting a table by the window and close to the fireplace was really nice too.

I haven't been to this Pub in ages, and was pleasantly surprised. I believe the Pub is under new Management. The whole place has had a make-over including the menu! The food was really delicious. There were a number of good choices from starters, mains...More

We ended up leaving without ordering as the restricted lunch time menu was so uninteresting Probably Sunday roast or eveing meals offer more choice.

Don't think I have ever give 5 / 5 on a review. Off to see strictly so looking for a county (non chain) pub nearby for lunch. Superb staff, v welcoming and efficient, and plenty of them around. Had sky sports plus lots of cosy...More

A group of seven dined on a Sunday. Service was friendly and efficient. The place was packed out but nothing seemed a problem. We had a mixture of beef & chicken roasts. Everyone agreed they were superb. We also had an Argentinian Malbec and a...More

Myself and my son were meeting up with his Godparents and chose this pub for a Saturday lunch vaguely midway between Chichester and their home in Sawtry near Peterborough as it had good reviews (the two most recent poor reviews appeared after our decision and...More

In my first review I was well impressed with this revamped pub/restaurant and thought they had done a fantastic job. But oh dear how things can change. This was a local for us, and during the winter and summer evenings we were regulars. Sadly not...More

I am truly disappointed, having been here many many times and eaten often. I was gobsmacked to find out the Chef had gone, so too some of the great staff. Long gone is the friendly atmosphere and fun with the staff, no banter just a...More

A quaint and homely country pub. The atmosphere is great and the service excellent. There is a beer garden for the summer months.

Really nice pub. We were a party of 15 booked for Sunday lunch. As it was a big group we pre-ordered. Were very disappointed that, although 4 roast lambs were ordered, they did not have any mint sauce. Might seem a small thing but important!!...More

Description
A stunning 15th century Inn, the Waggon & Horses is full to the original rafters with period features. With three open fires, a library, beautifully decorated in keeping with its age, this pub is at once cozy and romantic. With live music on certain nights, it transforms into a happy party venue with a real old fashioned buzz. The food is inspired by Mark Hix and celebrates the best of seasonal Britain. With a great wine list, cutting edge world beers and expertly kept ales, you will be left wanting for nothing.
