After being recommended many times to come here, came on a rare day off for a spot of lunch, was not disappointed! By far the best chunky chips I've ever had!! Reasonably priced, served quickly, lovely atmosphere, will definately be coming back

Fabulous weekend of music, gin, beer and great atmosphere. The staff worked their socks off and were still smiling at the end of a long busy weekend. Well done all look forward to next years beer festival. 😃

Pub full of history. Busy and friendly. Have never been disappointed with any lunch meal yet. Menu offers a nice selection. Roast dinner good value for money. Only a suggestion. More garden umbrellas needed on outside patio area.

Definitely steps to the front entrance that we used. As with the previous answers, worth a call ahead to confirm whether there is a better entrance for people with mobility issues.
