Based in the lower level of Ilford indoor shopping mall ...maybe this is aimed ast the budget end of the market, but the quality of food isn't there

My kids love coming here if we spend more than a couple of hours in town. I can recommend the burritos! For the portion size and location the prices do seem a little steep, but they have no competition in Ilford re; Mexican food and the quality is good.

Shared nachos with a friend here on a recent trip. Also had some fried desert things similar to donuts, thoroughly enjoyed it

We love this place, esp the sweet potato fries and churros. The shredded beef is a real treat, only place I've had perfect halal beef. Prices are reasonable and service always polite. One of a regular lunch haunts. :)

Visited with my kids. Sweet potato chips were great, wings were stale, Staff was unhelpful and don't dare ask for tap water even if you spend alot because they won't give you any. Not cheap either.

Very good value, the sweet potato fries are made fresh and are to die for! With burrito meals averaging £6 including a side and drink, the multitude of filling choices will guarantee you leave feeling full (if not a bit over-stuffed) and satisfied, with enough money left over for the journey home... bargain! They also serve a small selection of... More

This place is great for grabbing a quick bite. I had a huge burrito stuffed with just about everything, but you can pick and chose your fillings (although there's a surcharge for more unusual things like avocado), & you can see it all freshly made in front of you. It was incredibly tasty and filling and thus I think good... More

I love Mexican food, have it regularly while travelling to the US. Whenever we visit Ilford exchange, we grab a quick bite here. It can sometimes be very busy and things take time but if you go here at 12-12.30pm, chances are that you can get everything quickly. I love the sweet potato fries, the nachos, burritos, etc. To end... More

Located in the ground floor of the Exchange shopping centre in Ilford. Visited EL Mexicana for a lunch meal (Burrito and fries), it cost £5.99 including a drink. The service was very efficient, but it’s all about understanding the toppings that go into the Burrito. The restaurant wasn’t busy considering it was lunch time. It offers all the typical Mexican...
