Currently not serving food - in reality this is beer drinking pub - and a good one at that. Robinsons beers pretty average, currently three low gravity beers on handpump. Room 4 satisfactory in terms of value for money (I am living here during the week just now...) - particularly as Wilmslow is a very expensive place. As I like... More

Stopped in here for a quick drink one evening after we had checked into our local park and fly hotel. The bar area was quite busy, had a lovely atmosphere and we were made to feel welcome. The drinks we had were great, all staff friendly and jolly and the place clean and tidy.

Seven of us went to this pub on a Sunday lunchtime, wanting a decent drink and a sandwich. The pub was virtually empty at not long after midday and this should have told us something. If it didn’t then the beer tried – the Robinsons bitter was very average – and the sandwiches did! We were told that they normally... More

Felt just like a good old British boozer, with football on TV and pop music playing and old tables and chairs scattered around. Seemed a young crowd, but quiet. Served at the bar quickly and friendly. Fair enough for a pint after work, perhaps, but I wouldn't personally rush back - sorry. Price of two pints (£8ish) on a par... More

We stayed here as an overnight before going on to Manchester Airport the following day. Meals were very nice and the room was okay for an overnight. Would stay here again for an overnight and the price is reasonable at £59.00 for the room for 2 people.

This is my kind of pub. I love everything about it. It appreciates how you feel, knows what other customers have wanted before, and have found that they can provide a superior service and their reviews are a testament to this. If you get the chance, book a meeting.

For a quick drink after work it's not too bad. But the place has just been taken over and nothing really has changed. Food is basic and bland, carpets are disgusting. Furniture is old and out of date. Cmon King William! Join the rest of Wilmslows bars/restaurants! Renovate!

Went tonight for some cheeky beers with mates. Loved the place and the beers on offer were great. Nice selection and of gins. Definitely go back.

Came here for a few drinks during the week and I was very impressed. Friendly staff, competitive pricing and a nice relaxing bar area. The King William is one of the only traditional pubs left in Wilmslow, its unique and definitely valued in the local area. A lot of bar's in Wilmslow have unfortunately been modernized which has taken the... More
