Visited for Friday lunch. Very friendly good selection of beers and a brilliant pub garden surrounded by beautiful woodland. A destination for food in wooded countryside. Recommended.

Are the new management more welcoming towards cyclists than predecessors? I have previously eaten here and still been refused water to refill bottles even though I've been a paying customer. This happened once in 2015 I haven't returned since, but would regularly bring groups of cyclists here for large quantities of food if attitude has changed.

Hi Alex. We welcome all to our establishment, and definitely would fill your water bottle up with an added smile. Please give us a try and I hope we can win you over. All the best Tim
Are dogs allowed inside the pub, when eating?
