This was an extra on our coach tour of Eastern Cities of Canada, so not sure how much the meal cost on its own. Even though there were extensive road works going on, our driver navigated them successfully, I think we did an extra circuit of the "island". This is a little gem for a charming evening meal. I'm sure... More

Originally built as a mill in 1720, my wife and had had lunch here when we drove around I'le d"orleans recently and it was wonderful, the only problem was deciding what to choose from on the menu. Unfortunately the patio with the view of the small waterfall was closed because of the time of the year but at the right... More

Roads were all torn up during our visit. Not their fault, but what a hassle. If travel is ok definitely worth a trip from QC or Montmorency Falls. Very charming old mill (1720?). Nice pleasant and friendly service. Food was quite good and a nice dessert. Fairly large selection.

We stopped here for a late lunch during our tour of Quebec surrounding areas. We were travelling with another couple. We all had a very enjoyable experience dining here. My order of steamed tilapia served with vegetable soup was delicious. My wife's order of pasta with soup was equally well prepared and delicious. The person serving us did not appear... More

The picture tells the story of the quaintness of the restaurant. The menu and the service are in keeping with the regional cuisine. My husband and I had a light lunch of salad & onion soup, and a fresh shrimp salad. It was paired with local wine (Isle de Bacchus) and white (Barbier) beer. The homemade bread and wooden menu... We arrived here without a reservation, as our confirmed reservation at another location, was a terrible experience. We were greeted by Vicky and she was fantastic and helpful. We staying in a nice small home on the water and it had all the appointments of a 5 star. It was clean and comfortable and had a beautiful view of the... More

Good food and service for a large party. Quaint setting next to a small waterfall. Nice experience in a romantic old (1720)building.

Very popular venue for travellers and perhaps even locals might get a look in too on occasion. Was here as part of a tour and restaurant was full. Enjoyed the set menu with Soup, Salmon and Maple Pie. Lovely country house interior to building and rustic setting with mini waterfall outside. Staff work hard to keep the orders coming and... More

Moulin de St-Laurent is a stop on many bus tours of the island, so heads up regarding occupancy. Make reservations, and ask about scheduled bus tour visits to plan around. We called ahead and made reservations, and were supposed to be clear of any bus tour traffic. We weren't, but it wasn't a problem as they were having a grand... More

Part of our Globus tour. A very interesting old building with a nice waterfall to one side and pretty surrounds. The food is o.k. here but the venue is very cramped and stuffy when busy. Wait staff are, to be blunt, rude in the gallic sense. We did not appreciate having questions barked at us nor plates slammed down in... More
