Had the pasta with shrimp, was cooked perfectly and they suggested a wine I would have never tried, but did, now one of my favorites....

Lovely small place with a terrific staff. Best server we'd had in a long time. Help us pick a really nice, inexpensive bottle of wine. The seared foie gras with roasted figs appetizer was just right and the entrees lived up other reviews.

An incredible dinner from start to finish. This was as close to perfection as you will find. I would give it six stars, but the scale stops at five stars! A great experience and we will have to thank the Mayhurst Inn for the recommendation.
The food was very good. Service was good as well. The ice cream was delicious! I have to say, though, that it could have better ventilation. It smelled like fried food. That was a little unpleasant.
