This place is so good we are here on three occasions. Set next to the vineyard it is very calm and pretty, but the highlite is the food.....superb! The duck and fillet steak nearly stood out such is the high quality of the meals. Staff are very efficient and helpful.

A beautiful vineyard, with a lovely restaurant. The food was outstanding and the wines are great. Lovely staff. The eye fillet was superb and the chocolate cake was a perfect finish for a perfect meal!

Duck fat French fries!!! My new favorite dish. They came with a perfectly cooked filet. Sooooo good. The lamb dish was excellent and served with edamame on the side. Great combination. The days fish offering was swordfish. I didn't taste it but my friends' plate was empty. A flourless chocolate cake with coconut ice cream finished a truly delicious meal.

A great setting and excellent indoor/outdoor dining. The food was divine and the service suitably attentive. Dial in the GPS, as while it's a little hard to find, it only takes a few minutes to get there from Kerikeri. Highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner.

We had a lovely lunch here and a wander through the vineyard. Hubbie had delicious swordfish and I had a lovely steak. The veggies were particularly tasty. Service was friendly and efficient. Would recommend. Would suggest they create a dedicated smoking area somewhere in the car park to minimise any risk to the vines.

Six of us had supper there this week and we all loved it - the food was fantastic, the service was brilliant (discreet, sensible, engaging), and the pairing of wine with the courses was well advised. It is a wonderful spot and highly recommended.

We have just had the absolute pleasure of celebrating our 21st wedding anniversary with the most wonderful dining experience at Ake Ake Vineyard Restaurant. The service was very attentive and efficient yet friendly at the same time despite the restaurant being fully booked for a Friday night. The food was absolutely divine, the most beautiful flavours. We shared the shredded... More
