Recommended by our hotel, Best Western Radford, and they were right. So much good food. Local beer was refreshing. The sandwiches were so big we ate half for dinner and saved half for the next days lunch.

This bar was suggested to me, by the Hotel staff, and it was a good pick. It is located across from the University, and is a favourite with the students. The premises are quite large, with a separate dining area, and patio. When I sat...More
I thought this was going to be another Applebees or Chilis kind of place. No. Huge menu with massive signature sandwiches with fresh ingredients, great chili and wow, the Asian wings I had were very good, crispy, fresh. All the dishes around us were large...More
A fun place to gather in a casual atmosphere. Many delicious items on the menu plus a great selection of beer. Great wait staff and great service.

Having eaten before at local Macados restaurants, I expected higher quality food and service. Both were only mediocre even on a quiet weekday lunch.
It's been the same story for years. Their food is great, the service, so-so. Usually very nice servers, but SLOW. It hasn't changed in years so apparently management doesn't care. If you have plenty of time to kill, the food is good.
