We are here because we stayed at the hotel and did not feel like going out. Service was good. Food came promptly. Appetizers, salads, entrees seemed well prepared and tasty. But they were not that good considering the prices.

I had heard lots of good reviews but I left extremely disappointed. We went to celebrate a birthday on a Friday night and found the lack of customers depressing. We were one of three tables in the place. Our server was very sweet but we waited a ridiculously long time between the app and entrees. When the food finally appeared,... More

Just returned from Shulas in Roanoke and have to say as always, the food and the service was excellent. Like to give a shout out to Sid, our server, whom we have had previous, he's patience and expertise made our dining experience so much more enjoyable. If you ever stop here to eat, make sure you ask for Sid, as... More

We have been here three times in recent years. It is as pedestrian as a restaurant can be. The menu is uninteresting, and the presentation of the selections equally forgetable.

I had the filet medallions with smashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables. What I got were tasty filet medallions with a green peppercorn sauce. Delicious. The smashed potatoes were like wallpaper paste with potato skins in it. The flavor and texture were just WRONG! I couldn't eat that. The vegetable consisted of green beans that had some peppers and carrots waved... More

Shula is a nice restaurant with plenty of options to suit different taste buds. Nice place to organize formal dinners. Unfortunately they are not open for lunch.

Well let me tell you when you are at Shulas Resterant in Roanoke Virginia go there and have Teresa wait on you. She is the best of the best. I asked for her for my corporate event there for 500 people to be my head bartender and she nailed it which was no surprise to me at all. Treat her... More

My wife and I always stop overnight in Roanoke on our way to Reston Va. We always eat at Shula's. Teresa is the best bartender/server/counselor I have ever met. We hope to see more of her. She is a keeper!

Always great service from Teresa! We go weekly and always ask for her table. The experience is always great and the food is always solid. The BBQ shrimp and house salad is a perfect dinner combination

No complaints whatsoever about the food or service, but the mixed drinks have gone downhill recently. In short, avoid cocktails requiring "sour mix" or "agave sour" and stick to beer, wine or simple well concoctions. Something about a change in corporate policy that appears to have the bartenders' hands tied when it comes to mixing what I remember as some... More
