We ate here during the middle of the day after having spent time at the Strawberry Festival. Yes, the place is a bit run down but the food was fantastic! We had a BLT on a bun that was just baked that morning. The tomatoes were fresh and sweet. The bacon was perfectly cooked. We also ordered fish and chips,... More

A lot of reviews saying that the place isn't Irish enough besides some of the beer selection, the flag outside, and the name of the bar. What more do you want? A leprechaun in a kilt river dancing towards you to serve you your Guinness?? Blasting stereotypical Irish music? The atmosphere is great, and the inside is very reflective of... More

Pub food, good enough. Some Irish flavor to the beers, not much else. Kind of dark inside, service was good. Not very expensive so a good place for early evening group get together downtown.

Seemed a typical Irish bar without having a real Irish flavour . Was early in evening and so whatever customers in other bars taking advantages of happy hours . There was only one other customer in a dark room – no doubt atmosphere will change with time but avoid early doors.

Besides some beers, the name and the flag outside, there is really nothing Irish about this pub. The place is run down and in desperate need of a makeover. So while you may want to picture yourself in Ireland, it's more like an episode of Diners, Drive In's and Dives.

Walked City Market area in sunny, 68F weather. Read Pub sign and walked into darkness, NFL reruns and Irish beer. Fabulous interlude on trip home.

My friend and I saw the Irish flag and decided to stop in on Saturday night. The atmosphere was very casual and laid back. I was excited to see Smithwicks on tap! They also had Guinness, Harp, and Magner's Irish Cider, along with a few local brews. We got cheese curds, which are like mozzarella sticks, but way better. Our... More

A year ago around December 13th, my girlfriend and I were pleasantly surprised with this place. It was great, as the service was friendly and prompt, the cheese curds were great, and the beer was good as well. Also, the band jamming on Christmas songs added to the atmosphere. However, we returned this year, attempting to experience the great atmosphere... More
