Had a wonderful dinner with wife at The Globe and Laurel. The place is filled with military and enforcement memorabilia. Very fascinating to look at. Dinner was enjoyable. Great service from Josh, tasty and perfectly prepared prime rib with Caesar salad and baked potatoes. The...More

This trip had a two fold purpose. 1. To have a good meal. 2. To give the Major a piece of history. Now the first goal was achieved. I needed to make reservation's as I needed a wheel chair seating. We arrived at 17300 hours...More

We were in the Quantico area with friends who were also retired Marines. I had heard of the Globe and Laurel and wanted to give it a try. Looking at the reviews they seemed to be at both extremes so I didn't make a judgment....More

We waited 2.5 hours for our meal which never came. We were offered a free round of drinks, which never came. There were 8 of us, all retired Marines and we were having a reunion. It was horrible!! Never again.

Such a pleasant surprise! Went here for a luncheon with family and colleagues after an event at Quantico. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the food was quite good. Great atmosphere as well. Tons of neat memorabilia all over the restaurant.

Service was slow but friendly. Salad was shredded but flavorful. Soup was only warm. Prime rib was cold and tasteless. Bathroom was dirty. Only plus was the history. Hopefully it was just an extremely busy night.

Met an old USMC friend here for lunch. I don't understand the poor reviews this place gets. They must not be Marines. We met and ate at the bar for lunch. I had one of the best bowls of chili I have ever had and...More

Been here before. The inside is like a museum to the Marine Corp. and law enforcement / FBI Academy. Unfortunately the service and food was less then acceptable. We had reservations for 6 PM, didn't start to get food served until 8 PM. Meals were...More
