Very best french fries. Had a lovely outdoor lunch in the garden. Good service and food was very good. Chicken pot pie was scrumptious. The fries are made there and not of the frozen variety.

This restaurant was a delightful find after the first place I tried do NOT do take out. I was able to call in my to-go order without issue and was treated kindly and with respect. The tavern sits right on Route 50 and has a...More

Great food and drinks! A favourite place to stop off after day-walking trips from DC. I keep coming back because its the closest thing to a British pub I've found in the area. (The interior is a little too clean and airy to be authentic...More

The Hunter's Head Tavern offers a nice atmosphere inside and outside. For a first visit, the procedure may be confusing as you order your food and first drink at a window inside before you seat yourself and have a waiter/waitress, but the staff was friendly...More

This tavern was recommended to me by a clerk at my hotel. The drive to the location is lovely and full of charm, and made the trip worthwhile. The tavern is full of character and they serve traditional pub fare. The menu was enticing with...More

I am vegetarian and they have great options for me as well as amazing hot bread and butter! It is casual fun atmosphere and can usually squeeze in walk-ins as well as I once had a private room for a birthday party.

We had a delicious dinner and sat outside under the tent. It was comfortable and the service was quick. Food is ordered inside at a window and then brought to your table. I would return if in the area.

Unfortunately we didn't make reservations but were seated upstairs. The surroundings and furniture reflected the age of the building and it was evident a lot had gone into to make it as comfortable as possible. Considering we were upstairs the staff was very attentive. The...More

Small town about 15 miles outside of the more prominent Middleburg destination. The place has a small, quite well stocked, bar and in addition to the inside tavern seating there is a large outdoor tented area reminiscent of a biergarten. We made reservations through Open...More

Well, they may not be "gourmet", in some other reviewers' words, but at our recent lunch, my friend and neighbor had a terrific, delicious dish of a trio of vegetarian salads, so I think they know vegetarian, and if you ask... More
