First time eating here and we had a great experience. Loved the atmosphere and the service was excellent. Husband had the Finn chicken sandwich and I had the seafood sampler platter, which I shared with my husband, and a cup of She Crab soup. It was so much food we could not eat it all. The She Crab soup was... More

We visited after a football game for a late dinner with the crew. The staff were friendly and prompt. The food was really flavorful for a late night.

We went here on a Saturday night and the place was virtually empty, which we liked but thought there might be a reason for this. The less than friendly hostess walked us to a table and said something like, "I guess you all can just sit here" as if she was dumping us off somewhere. She just plopped down the... More

My wife and I were here today at lunch time . We were seated and after exactly 15 minutes of being ignored we got up to leave. We told the hostess that we're were leaving because nobody greeted us or even took our drink order. The hostess did not say a word. I then asked for the manager and he... More

We have been to Finn McCool's restaurant on several occasions and this is the first time we ordered their specialty: beef boxty. Yes Beef Boxty. A boxty is a very large "tortilla like" potato pancake with either pork, beef, lamb, or chicken in the boxty. We selected beef. The meat is placed inside the tortillia and folded in half similar... Wife and I went for the first time with a restaurant.com gift certificate and we are already planning our next time back!. Everything was perfect, from ambiance to waitstaff, from appetizers to desserts! We have been talking to all of our friends about it!

This is your typical bar/restaurant with typical bar food. It's not awful, but it's just average. It's a good place to watch a game/match.

Kildare nachos are always good, but order a half portion. Pretzel are also good. You cannot beat the fish and chips. Huge portion. Cider goes perfectly with the Irish fare. Be sure to come hungry. If the game is on, or the people are loud ask the hostess for a quiet table. They accommodate.

Finn McCools is very close to the amphitheater, which makes it a great place to stop for dinner before a concert. They have great Irish dishes, a few seafood dishes and great burgers. Service is usually decent, with inside and outside seating. The outdoor seating is covered, with a/c and heat to take the edge off of extreme temps. The... More

The service can be varied depending on the server no real consistency. The food is good not great and the beer selection wanting.
