We have been to this buffet lunch on many Fridays and everyone finds something they enjoy. Often few diners are there and that's a shame as the quality is high and the choices are great. Typically there are one or two soups, three salads, three paninis (one veggie), two main entrees (usually one meat, one seafood, both with veggies), cheese,... More

Had a customer in the same shopping center so I decided to give Traditions a try. It was a great decision as the VALUE is there and their fried chicken was hot and fresh. Big selection of salads, vegetables meats and desserts. My beverage glass was never empty due to the courteous staff. Great place to take the family .

The restaurant is lovely, and the staff is very attentive. The food is more ordinary 21st century fare than anything special, but it was beautifully prepared and served. Definitely not an 18th century period dining experience, like so many in Colonial Williamsburg.

Traditions is located inside the Williamsburg Lodge. I have eaten here for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast/brunch is a must. I suggest trying the buffet bar, which offers a great variety of southern and American cuisine, including homemade omelets. A fine seafood buffet is offered on Friday nights. Both seafood and brunch buffets tend to be a bit pricey, but... More

We had the new year's eve dinner and were a little disappointed. We didn't know if the choices were what they were on other nights, but each entree selection came at a set price and all with the same limited choice of salads, soup and desserts. Our server, Lupita, was excellent, and kept a smile on her face the entire... More

We had breakfast every day as part of our hotel package. We ate here all 5 mornings of our trip. The buffet was very good although the choices were not huge. The food qualtiy is excellent and the staff is fantastic. We had brunch on Sunday and the extra choices were awesome! We would recommend Traditions for breakfast.

This restaurant offers a lovely breakfast buffet until 10:30 a.m. My husband was satisfied with the variety and preparations. There was a massive amount of gluten free options as well as gluten options. They are conscious of diet and seasoning and ask about you preferences. I ordered off the menu and had the 3-sisters hash with hollandaise and enjoyed the... More

A full menu was offered, but we opted for the buffet. A bit pricey at $20 apiece, but the options and ease for dining made it worthwhile. After breakfast, we didn't need to eat again until evening. From you-pick-the-ingredients ommlettes to all types of breakfast foods (including casseroles and pan-fried grits), you couldn't go wrong.

The breakfast here is amazing and plentiful. The buffet is exceptional and the staff will not leave you wanting for anything. Although the major taverns in the Colonial District are great-Traditions will take them head to head. Great place and convenient.

Ate 1 breakfast and 1 dinner, I felt the breakfast was a bit pricey for just a breakfast but the dinner was quite nice to be able to choose from the full meal which included soup salad main entree and dessert. Or you could just get the soup and salad bar, very nice. I had the beef pot pie, quite... More
