We were not that impressed with this fine dining experience. Bread was not good unless warm, salad had to be remade with dressing on the side because first one was drowning, and lastly we felt like we were being rushed out. For quality of meals, we felt it was over priced.

The place was hopping, but we were treated like the only people there. Service was amazing and the food delectible. This is the first time I can remember when every morsal of food was eaten by everyone at the table. The food was just that good.

Had dinner 3/3/17 at Le Yaca with a large group (60 people). Atmosphere was delightful (beautiful separate room with lovely tables/adequate room to move around.) Service was exceptional (kudo's to Brianna who led the service team)! Food was very good. It is always hard to serve that many people and get the food correct. I had cream of asparagus soup,... The Menu was fantastic and service was superb. A must visit in Williamsburg. Pleasant staff. My daughters treated me to this lunch and I enjoyed it immensely. I am not a cuisine expert but I can tell you it was delicious. You will enjoy!

We have eaten her many times in the last decade. Our favorite is a prix fixe dinner on Thursday featuring roast lamb. The lunch prix fixe meal is also a good value

Le Yaca continues to be the best restaurant in Williamsburg. There are many good places to eat, they simply don't match Le Yaca for food and service.

Le Yaca is always a fine place to dine--especially when you know you want a special meal that is bound to be enjoyed. It maintains a menu with a good choice of foods. You can always be assured you and your guests will like your dinner here--or lunch.

Have had the good fortune to dine here twice in the last month. We were also lucky enough to have the same wonderful server, Gail. She helped with our wine choices, as well as our cocktails. The all inclusive dinner choices are delicious, and you can't choose wrong. The salmon was flaky and tender, and the potatoes were cooked perfectly.... More

My husband and I were in Williamsburg for a day and a night to see the Botticelli show at the Muscarelle....don't miss it. Could only get an early seating but that worked well as it was quiet and staff very attentive. Before a drop of wine or a morsel of food came our way, I was happy...the color of the... More

I have dined here in groups, as a couple and a few times by myself. I am treated the same regardless. I see the same servers year after year which is the mark of a great place to work, too. Due to their pre-fix menu it doesn't have to be just a "special occasion" place.

Description
Le Yaca began in a tiny, country village(Courchevel)in the French Alps in 1964.Daniele Bourderau & Gerard decided that it would be fun to open a small restaurant. When friends learned of their plans they told the hopeful restaurateurs that they were crazy to think that people would drive 8 kilometers on a winding, icy road for dinner.Daniele and Gerard hesitated for 3 months and then decided: “yaca le faire,” a contraction of the French phrase “ il n’y a qu’a le faire” which basically means “let’s do it.” They called the restaurant Le Yaca as a gag. But the name caught on with customers, who were amused by the pun and contributed to the restaurant’s lore by inventing “yaca-isms ” of their own: yaca y aller (let’s go). Daniele came to the United States & opened Le Yaca in Williamsburg.Daniel Abid bought le Yaca in 2001. Daniel worked and trained in such prestigious places as “Le Pre Catelan” and “Lenotre” in Paris; “L’Amandier” and “Roger Verge" and to top it all off “Alain Ducasse.”
