Can't believe I've lived in the area, but have just discovered this jewel. My lunch was Miss Becky's which consisted of two ham biscuits, fruit salad, coffee (or tea) and my choice of pie. The thin, but rectangular country ham biscuits were delicious! The fruit...More

Wow, can’t wait to go again! Breakfast was awesome. Go ahead and get the plantation platter with a side of ham gravy and you will have had a taste of the true south! That gravy is great! The biscuits are flat and the size of...More

We visited in January, obviously not their busy season. We were seated within 5 minutes of our arrival, there were only 2 other occupied tables. Our waitress was very attentive. 3 of the 4 of us ordered the Miss Melinda Special, I ordered a chicken...More

We were refused service on Christmas Eve morning. They were not taking reservations and the restaurant had one family in it. The host told us he had tables reserved for other families that had not arrived yet. Absurd! Don't say you are first come first...More

This was recommended as a local "go to" place, so we went. It smacks of Southern charm although ON the beaten path of Williamsburg, you can literally go by this place 100 times and never notice it. You enter through a huge door into a...More

Heard about it and decided to try it. The Brunswick stew was worth the trip. The ham and biscuit were also good. Gift shop area had a large selection of unique items.

I really wanted to enjoy my breakfast experience here but I left feeling very disappointed in the food and quite angry about the rude service. We had to wait to be seated for about 15 minutes even though there were plenty of open tables!! I...More

I don't think they take reservations. Go early because it gets crowded quickly.

Looks like you got two good sets of directions. There is also parking on the side street. It is a busy place and only open until about 3 p.m. so don't go late.
