The sandwiches here are a Williamsburg staple, and are totally worth the wait, but my favorite thing about the The Cheese Chop is the odd ends of cheese that are by the cheese counter. The package small bits of various cheeses that are perfect for sampling. You will get to try a bundle of cheeses you'd never think to try... More

A wonderful place for a sandwich! Make sure you order one. Bread is wonderful. Cheese section is full with many cheeses and those waiting on you are knowledgeable. Lots of special items for sale. A must if you are in Williamsburg.

The cheese shop makes delicious sandwiches...especially the prosciutto and provolone. It gets crowded and the lines for the delivery counter snake around the store, but the food is worth it. The store porting of the Cheese Shop has excellent cheeses and breads and desserts. Very worth a visit!

It is usually busy, but if you make your way over to the cheese counter the ladies are very willing to let you try different cheeses from other regions. They are knowledgeable and friendly, having patience and they don't want you to be rushed. Great variety of international cheese!

On a rainy day we made our way to the Cheese Shop for lunch. There was a long line for sandwich ordering, but the cheese counter was walk up and select three very good cheeses at their prime and a meat. The two of us split the lunch with a glass of wine. Great Value and Great Food

One of my favorites places to eat in Williamsburg. I love their sandwiches! Two recommendations: offer a less fattier prosciutto and please toast our sandwiches. Everything else is perfect!

Williamsburg was about half way for us on the way to the Outer Banks. We wanted to pick up some cheese and wine on the way so we stopped here. We have a very good sandwich. Small for the price but very good. Cheeses were good so we got a cheese board. Also picked up a couple bottles of reasonably... More

This is a well reviewed restaurant and we found it horrendous that we had to wait almost 20 minutes to place our order, 30 minutes to get our four sandwiches (we had been told it would take less than 20), and another 10 minutes to check out. I would love to say that the food was worth the wait but... More
