Valentines dinner with my love and good friends. Service was prompt and courteous, (as always!) Food was sublime and delicious, (as always!) Wine and mixed drinks were excellent, (as always!) Of course it's pricey but its worth it.

Excellent food and service. Go next door to the Cheese Shop during the day and get a great sandwich to go. Be sure to pick up a bottle of their House Dressing!!

Review for 2 reservations: 02/13/2018, we both ordered the beef tenderloin as our main entree. The fillet was cooked perfect. Don't recall our servers name but he was wonderful! 02/28/18, we both order beef tenderloin medium rare but came out medium to medium well. Fortunately,...More

We tend to come here for special occasions (because it's not inexpensive), but the food is absolutely to die for. We came here when our son was visiting; he'd heard about it many times but hadn't had a chance to eat here yet. We each...More

Fat Canary is an exceptional restaurant - and will offer you a variety of options. Anything you select will meet the highest standards. It is not a steakhouse - I’m in Bangalore and jet lagged. My last response was confusing. More

Description
This high-energy bistro took over as Williamsburg's best restaurant as soon as it opened in 2003. The sophisticated but relaxed dining room has an open kitchen, which uses fresh, local ingredients for its creative American fare. The dining bar and seasonal outdoor patio seating are on a first come basis. Reservations for the dining room are recommended and may be made up to 2 months in advance. Open daily for dinner, a hostess is available during the day to take reservations.
