This authentic coffee shop roasts and friends their own beans and serves the coffee in beautiful mugs. But it is in a strip mall so it is a bit hard to find. Hope my photo if the exterior helps!

You won't come across the Coffeehouse by accident as it is tucked away in a downtrodden shopping center. But it's a local favorite -- we call it 'the teacher's lounge' because so many William & Mary professors frequent the place. It has a wonderful sandwiches built with crusty baguettes and salads dressed with a homemade viniagrette. Specialty coffees and teas... More

I have eaten lunch here several times but this was the first time in over a year. As always, service was fast. I ordered their ham and cheese sandwich, which comes with greens and a superb mustard. The bread is crispy and chewy, apparently freshly baked. While it appears a bit small to the eyes, it is a good lunch... More

This is a great shop. The coffee is freshly roasted and freshly brewed. The people are friendly. They are one of the last mom-and-pop coffee shops you'll find. Well worth the visit.

I like that this shop is independent. There are so few coffee shops in the area, so I appreciate having a place to meet someone for coffee. The cappuccino I had was just average though.

Often deservedly voted the best coffeehouse in Williamsburg, this is a regular stop when we visit Williamsburg. You know it's good because it is also obviously a favorite with local people!

Aromas is king in this town for a Chai late but this is a good substitute on this end of town. Atmosphere is awful though, get it to go.

I first discovered The Coffeehouse while attending Cars & Coffee on a Saturday morning a couple of years ago. I go back regularly now even if there are no cars! Great breakfast sandwiches and excellent coffees. Lunch sandwiches are great as well. Why go to some overpriced chain with pre-packaged food, when you can get a fresh made sandwich or... More
