Awabi is approximately 30-minutes from my home. I each lunch there every week. Also an occasional dinner (I rarely dine out for dinner). I recommend the Udon Noodle Soup (I prefer the spicy version), the Lollipop Roll and the Christmas Eve Roll. I generally prefer Sashimi but I always think about those rolls as I drive to Awabi. Marcus is... More

Stopped here for a casual outdoor dinner during a weekend getaway in Winchester with my wife. It was very pleasant, the food was good, and it was very affordable. Features a very varied menu with lots of choices. Sashimi appetizer was great, the specialty rolls were good. I tried a Korean rice and vegetable hot pot - served in a... More

If you want sushi and you're in Winchester, you've got to try Awabi! Located right in the heart of the download walking mall, there menu is spot on and chef is great! We frequently get carryout from this location. Our favorites: the Loudoun St Roll, Dragon Roll, Rainbow Roll and more!

Went for dinner on a cold January night. On Winchester pedestrian mall next to splash pond (which might be noisy in summer outside, I'd guess). Sake and miso soup warmed us up. Started with tempura appetizer, nice and crunchy, just a tad heavier than some tempura we've had, came 2 shrimp & 3 veggies. Had sushi deluxe platter, 1 each... More

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Winchester. Whether for lunch or dinner the menu delivers great meals. While we often go for sushi, the other items are exceptional as well. When the weather is nice, dining al fresco is a great option.

Took my girlfriend on a date here and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We made reservations for a Friday night. Although we really didn't need them it made us feel special to walk in and see a "reserved" sign on the table. The food was delicious. One of my best friends is Korean and his family cooks the... Our family of 5 ate a delicious Saturday late lunch at Awabi. We had a variety of Maki rolls, all wonderful, sea urchin sushi, sea weed salad, tofu Bibimbop and some delicious soup I can't remember the name of. It had tender dumplings, in beef broth tenderly flavored with Shitaki and shredded egg and daikon. The ingredients are fresh, the... More

My husband and I sat on the patio-very clean and wonderful place to people watch. We had a variety of sushi rolls- The Firestarter, Treasure Island, Spicy tuna and the Bulgogi roll. All of them were AMAZING! Fresh and tasty. The Bi Bim Bob is also to die for..served in a stone pot and full of yummy veggies and meat.... More
