With 5:30pm Saturday dinner reservations prior to a local play, we three were warmly greeted by the chef and seated at a front table. Although we saw only a single wait staff taking care of the dining room that evening, for us as first timers,...More

We found this cafe on the outskirts of Old Town Winchester on a rainy, cold Friday evening. A very welcoming, intimate setting with exposed brick walls, travel posters and family photos. A great place for date night. The food was fresh and very well prepared....More

Everything from our appetizers through our cheese plate and homemade desserts was a delight. Great wine by the glass as well as a wonderful wine list. Add to that a most helpful server and a chef who interacts with his patrons during the course of...More

This is a quaint French restaurant with delicious food. The owner/chef is very personable and seems to enjoy interacting with customers. My last visit was for lunch and my scallops were awesome. One should not expect a "quick bite". Meals here are "dining experiences"--relaxed.

One of our regular go to restaurants. The chicken liver salad and the red snapper nicoise are great. Always good, sometimes great and every once in awhile a flub but always worth the trip. Family owned and run. Worth the trip!

This review gets a "very good" only because I reserve Excellent for flawless experiences. The nature of this restaurant is that it positions itself between casual and fine dining. A fine dining experience might earn an Excellent rating, but it would also cost twice as...More
