My wife and I enjoyed a delightful dinner here. The make delicious and interesting dishes made from simple foods without a lot of heavy spices and seasoning. The baked goods are amazing. Best of all is the interesting decor, interesting history, and eclectic shops that make this place unique. So be sure to check it out if you are in... More

Both meals were good. We love the Spinach & Artichoke Dip, too. Our waitress was friendly and professional.

Took a chance without a reservation and was fortunate enough to be seated. This beautiful, old log house has been turned into an absolutely delightful restaurant. It simply oozes charm and ambiance as soon as you enter. The food is expertly prepared and is delicious. I had the ribeye and it was cooked to perfection. Their "fancy fried grits" are... More

This restaurant delivers more than good food. It allows you to step back in time with all of the original antiques. The staff encourages you to wander around the house while waiting for your food. There is a dove atrium, gardens with rabbits. We were there in February, so unfortunately, the garden out back was barren. I imagine that it... More

This place started out great but has gone consistently down hill since the beginning for us. Food is good, ambiance is great, but the service is almost non-existent. The last 2 times we tried it we had similar experiences. We took our staff their for lunch and was finally seated after a 15 minute wait. There was no at the... More

Vary small town staff, the food is excellent and there's plenty of history to look at while seated at your table. When you're done eating check out the shops behind the main house and the tiny bar tucked away in the back. Street side parking.

Loved this historic place. Great dinner and ambiance. We expected George Washington to walk in any minute. Pair this with the Trinkle Mansion for a great experience!

THis place is worth going out of your way. We went again and again were very well fed and fun to go there. Its kind of like a Cracker Barrel but the antiques are real and you are in a real 250 year old log cabin. If you go when the weather is good, take time to walk around the... More
