The beer and booze are good the prices are high for what you get and the portion sizes are small. If you want to leave feeling hungry go to Archers. I got the cheddar bacon burger it was the size of a hockey puck and came with a dozen fries or so.

I am more of an "eater" rather than a "drinker," so I generally steer clear of restaurants that seem to have more emphasis on liquids rather than solids. It is a big mistake, however, to think that the Archer Ale House is not serious about its cuisine! My sister and I ventured down the steps, were greeted warmly, and invited... More

Archer Ale is located down a set of stairs in a basement and at first glance appears to be a pretty typical Northwest tavern - low key, casual. However, the hidden treasure is quickly revealed by its ambitious menu and a kitchen that totally delivers on the menu's promises. This is beautiful, fresh and sophisticated food. Sea scallops over risotto,... More

On our way to take visiting family for oysters on Chukanut Drive and couldn't wait, so we ducked in here for a bite. What a find! BEST FOOD EVER. The clam chowder was the best I've ever had, as was the mushroom, truffle and Swiss burger. Everyone else raved about their food, also. The atmosphere was warm and cozy and... More

We came for dinner. What a treat. It was like going to the United Kingdom without the airfare. We ordered a couple of beers. They have quite a few taps and a few that they change with seasonal brews. Food was delicious. Waitstaff is friendly and informative about the menu items and beers. Can't wait to go back.

Love this place! I have yet to have a bad meal. This is a regular casual date for my boyfriend and I. The shepards pie along with the truffle mac and cheese are our favorites. They make their own ginger beer for moscow mules. Delicious. We keep going back. My favorite spot in Fairhaven!

such a nice surprise when you go down the stairs to this place. At first I wasn't so such but once we walked through the door it was great. Had a hearty meal & a good beer. Service was good and the place has nice atmosphere. Very different from most.

The Archer is the place to go for a comfortable dinner with such wonderful choices on the menu. There is enough variety for almost any palate. Portions are generous but not over-loaded and are fresh and tasty Live music adds to the atmosphere from time to time. Nice choices of liquid refreshment!

Archers is located in a basement near the main street through town. Don't let the entrance deceive you. It has a classic traditional pub look - oak bar, stone walls, tin ceiling etc. Large selection of English and local beers. Extensive cocktail menu. Food is burgers, sandwiches and entrees. We had sandwiches and the chowder, all of which was good.... More
